Very good video man
Great points! I haven't done a video in months and you just reminded me that I should not give a sh... and just do what I would do anyway and film it when I feel like it.
I spent my first year on UA-cam shooting everything AND editing everything on my iPhone. Just now stepping up with better camera + mics + editing software for year 2. I learned a lot of lessons doing it with nothing - hopefully that makes this transition easier. Great video 👍
Great Video mate and some great points. Too many people worry about being perfect before they start. NEWS FLASH... you'll never be perfect, even if you were given $10,000 to buy gear you'd still look back 2 or 5 years later and think your first video sucked. Just start and get better and have fun!!
Pretty inspiring video, reminded me of why i started my streams with crappy gear in the first place. Might just switch from Twitch to UA-cam.
A masterclass in being a creator! Thanks!
I just started in 2024. I'm a month in and enjoying every bit of it. If you make content around something you are really immersed into, you can never go wrong. Dope video!
I enjoyed the video man. you're a blunt person with a great personality. keep going your inspiring.
Great advice man. You and jhawk are definitely huge inspirations for me. I watch you guys to get some motivation and inspiration.
Just discovered you big dawg and watched this video and im hooked. Thanks for that advice!
Great video man, I just started a channel and found the information you provided to be really helpful. I was getting a little discouraged but I am going to just keep being myself and doing what I am doing and become better with each video and slowly acquire more gear.
Thanks for the helpful advice !
These are all great tips. Thanks for sharing 🙌🏼
Yessirrr! That replication piece is a big deal and tip I’m implementing. I’m only one video in but I have hundreds of logged ideas. Just need to script, film edit, release….CONSISTENTLY
You are one of the dopest I've seen. I never watch vlogs, as the quality is usually pretty bad, but I watch/listen to yours pretty much whenever you release them. What do you think one should do at the stage of an almost fully monetized channel on rather a peculiar kind of spirituality, but wanting to talk about productivity, creativity, and even tech. I started another one, but I don't think I can push both successfully.
definitely a lot good advice nice set up by the way : )
Thanks for the tips & keeping it simple.
4:46 Brother, just subscribed! You’ve literally resonated up to this point in your video with everything I’ve been feeling as a “new” creator. I already look forward to watching more of your content! 🤘
same, subbed after seeing this! Also I am starting to post videos around filmmaking for beginner-novice if that interests you.
Glad it could help brother🙌
This is some important truths man. As a new creator, it is hard to see the big dogs up there and not want that immediately...but, the grind makes it so much for fulfilling.
Thank you so much for this! I needed to hear this. I struggle with figuring it out and BAM! Your video. Again. Thank you.
Cheers
Thank you, E! As someone who is trying to get into the space, this helps so much, man.
Thank You This Was So Inspiring And A Lot Of Stuff Takin Off My Chest
If I would have to start again on UA-cam, I just wouldn't waste months to get recognized by couple hundred people. When I discovered I could trigger organic growth after getting first 1000 subscribers (I used a lot of Famester), my life got a lot easier and my main channel exploded. People are just looking at your numbers when searching for some content, everything else doesn't matter. If you have low number of subs, no one cares about you, even if you have the best content on platform.
Says a bot channel with a low number of subscribers.
This is seriously GREAT advice 🙏🙌
I laughed and nodded my head yes this entire video 😅 thank you its great, and so is your energy. Much love!
Needed this. Thanks!
This deserves more views. Amazing points❤
I’d love a video on how to improve as a presenter. You’ve got such a great screen presence
bro we should collab on something!
thankyou big e I needed this video
So true! I just hit my first consistent month ever! It’s mentally challenging but so damn rewarding.
If you have a dream Protect It! A lot of times we don't really have that many people judging us, we tend to doubt ourselves in our thoughts using other people's voice! The biggest obstacles are ourselves that's it.
Even Tai Lopez said something recently that caught my attention. " Don't self isolate stay social."
In the sense of we spontaneously make negative decisions based off of doubt of the moment. Which is the worst time to make a negative decision btw. Not feeling good enough, or not belonging is the bs mindset that holds people back from greatness on a daily basis.
Love it. Subbed.
This is the best youtube starter advice
Great video bro! Agree 1000% 🙌🏼
You remind me of a mixture of unboxtherapy and Peter McKinnon.
Awesome Video Well put together.
Great Tips 👊
Hey brother, just wanted to reach out and say thank you for being raw and real. It speaks volumes and has helped me as a creator!
Yo Big E, what would you suggest for someone like myself that has a nothing channel but would like to do reviews. Who would you suggest or do you know of any companies that give the small guy a shot?
bro i learned so much using my old Sony a5000 before i ever got the a6600 and eventually an fx3.
Actual fax.
Needed this!
My man, keep killing it.
Incredible
Thanks! How do you actually get people to click over from a short form video(on the same topic) to a long form video? From my experience the CTR is super low from a short to a long form.
Thank you for this.
Great video, E!
You said it right when you said “I did this because I love it and didn’t expect to make money off it”.
Wonderful 🎉
New sub here! Great video! How do you feel about switching direction on a channel that has a decent amount of following ( 20k ) like my channel?
Awesome info and motivating. I just like tonget 1k a month then i can move to Thailand and continue there😅
Have fun with your passion first and everything will come together! People definitely think its a rat race, Personally for me im patient and enjoy the process and believe within due time everything will fall into place. Also quality over quantity.
excellent points
Great video
This was so good
sick office
Wendigoon, one of the fastest growing creators on this app, used his iphone and edited on it till after he passed 1 mill subs
Caught in 4k
He says sh*t and f*ck too much…
And you’re complaining about that why?
Who fucking cares
Shit! You're fucking right!
My gf told me once, Im addicted to youtube, I asked "whats the difference?" You can watch netflicks shows all day, so why are you making it a point to call me out on watching youtube, its the SAME THING. Now, its literally the ONLY form of tv I watch. Ill catch a movie here and there but its way more interesting to see how someone is making it living in ... i don't know, JAPAN because they got that opportunity. Ever since I started youtube I never fixed my eyes on the numbers but it is smart to do something you love. Tech is interesting and fun but if you can't catch a deal or a company to allow you to interview their products, it can be rough.
