If two objects have their speeds in the ratio a:b, distance covered by the two objects in the same time will be in the ratio a:b and time taken by the two objects to cover same distance will be in the ratio b:a ✅To Learn More about Time, Speed, and Distance, enroll in our full course now: infinitylearn.com/cbse-fullcourse?UA-cam&DME&M0KwcND6a4 To watch more Time, Speed, and Distance videos, click here - bit.ly/TimeSpeedDistanceWork
There is a simple method to solve such questions using just the 2 speeds. 1) If the distance covered is equal in both scenarios, use this formula: 2s¹s²/(s¹+s²) where s¹ & s² represent the two speeds respectively. 2) If the time taken is equal, use this formula: (s¹+s²)/2 where s¹ & s² represent the two speeds respectively. If you want the derivation, you can simply use variables only and then solve using the normal method. You'll get the verification. Hope it helps ☺️☺️

this is very helpful, but as a person who finds mathematics a larger problem compared to others, ( and I assume i'm not the only person) but when giving the answers please give a clear explanation as to how you go from one step to another, and why. I don't usually complain about things like this but I know other people may be thinking this and thought It would help. x
to find the total distance or total time, just use the cross multiply n u'll get the answer for it.. example : 3km = 1hr 6km = x 3x=6 x = 6/3 x = 2 hr ------------ 1 5km = 1hr 10km = x x = 2 hr ------------ 2 Ave Speed = T(d) (10+6km)/T(t) (2+2) = 4km/hr
Really awesome mam. I did the same mistake mam avg speed will be avg of speed you clear that in very well.some books give formula but I confused that how it comes.it is very helpful to me mam. Thank you so much.
Really helpful video. I never understood the concepts well. I finally understood. Thankyou. Although I couldn't find the next parts for circular tracks part 2 onwards.
Hello Wolfcartziee! Hope you are doing well.🙂🙂 The difference between speed and average speed is that speed is a one time measurement of velocity while average speed is the median measurement of different speeds which is used to simplify the varying speed to appear like a single unit only.

You are right
If distance and time are not equal then what we do
In schools the teachers need to tell like this.. Appreciate for your works madam🙌🙏

Tomorrow is my paper and this video is cleaning my doubt
this woman explains so good.
Very nice video
Finally my doubts are cleared

I have doubt so when I start solving last question that means 3kmph/6kms,5kmph/6kms so here if we add 3+5 or 6+10 we getting the answer as 2 only so we can follow the 2 procedure also
This is my doubt ( see the 2 replys in the comment that replies is mine
As that 3+5=8 so then when we write 3/6 then =2 and lastly 5/10= 2 then 2+2 = 4 the 3+5 = 8 so then 8/4 is 2 it is also giving answer 2
By the mean of equation the sum you solved is write but iam saying the it also having 2 sides to solve either it write or wrong
good update a video on boats and streams and trains problems for ibps exam
