Agree with most of what you said. Except McClean why should we keep relying on players who are past it? We need to start capping younger players now giving them experience, there is enough players there with experience, also McClean is playing for Wrexham not good enough for international football.

Until we see serious investment in academies in Ireland, we won't produce anywhere near world class players. Getting to tournaments is as much as we can hope for with the current crop of players. The style doesn't matter when the options are so limited.
