There is a lava flow area that runs north to south just above where Jormuntide spawns, 2 or 3 Mimog will spawn along the lava flow. I fly from the North end of the lava to the South end, collecting the Mimogs, I then fly out to Jormuntide, the Mimogs respawn, I then fly from the South end to the North and go far enough away (about the same distance as Jormuntide is in the South) and repeat my route. Sometimes they actually spawn on the lava and I have to get a hit on them before they burn up to collect the loot. So far, for me, this is the easiest place to farm them. I always use the rocket launcher to attack them for a one hit kill.
It's worth noting you can trap mimog with defense walls, so if you bring enough materials to trap them, just make sure your Katress has attacks that will not cause fire damage (If you're using wood) and dont use fire weapons, and you'll be golden to wail on them. While you can't get dog coins for butchering them, I prefer to catch mimogs because you can butcher them for more gold coins and training manuals. Plus, I carry a mimog with the lv 5 partner skill in my party so I never need keys to open chests, which is very handy, and have him equipped with leaf,ice, and thunder attacks for CC to make captures easier. If you have a mimog as your active pal, it can and WILL chase other mimog down, provided you have it set to attack. Mimog keeps its run speed even when you have it as a pal.
There's a WAYYY better spawn point which is like a small lava area with LOADS OF SPAWNS in the middle of a load of green mountains, coords are BETWEEN 363, 46 and 363, -66 (to the right of the level 35 Verdash boss/'Sealed Realm of the Swift' fast travel). Levels are 16-20 so you can easily kill them with a few bullets, infact I havent had any run away from me yet for some reason I've had a few times where there's been 9 spawn at once (3 spawns with 3x spawn rate) in different locations along the strip. MIMOG DONT SPAWN at chest locations, they spawn in pal spawn locations - I saw you checking a lot of chest spots here which they dont spawn A lot of them in the middle of the lava revine area are easy to spot because they burn in the fire and you can see the health wiltering away (need to kill them before they die from the lava or they wont drop anything), and you also need to check left and right of the middle lava section for all the other spawns I can literally get like 3/4k in 20 mins or so if I proper grind and thats without katriss, hoever it does get boring lol. Didn't know katriss did this so may invest in this method to get higher drops. MAIN TAKEAWAY IS THIS, GO TO THE LAVA SPOT IN THE COORDS IVE MENTIONED ABOVE AND FLY AROUND WITH JETRAGON. If none spawn, simply fly out into the water at either end of the strip and circle back to reset the spawns and you should see them spawn fairly regularly
Also, if you're looking to capture them (good for butchering later for XL training manuals and gold), they get caught pretty reliably in legendary spheres here without engaging in combat.
Just fly along the coast of where you're flying near the cliff they spawn a lot there with all the other pals often with x3 on. Just circle in a small area, not the whole biome.
@@juliusrosen7190 i managed too get luck by catching a lucky with ferocious, musclehead and burly body week 2 of the game, still one of my favoret pals, even tho i breed one with underworld, legend, feroc and muscle with dark wisp.. Might change if i get a boss breed one tho 😂...

I have a path around the anubis desert I take but I intentionally take a slower mount than jetragon to more easily spot them and have certain spawns that I've at this point memorized and check decently officially. Might use katress strat going forward because 75 from one mimog is way more than I ever get so thats pretty hype to know. They have a range of coins they can drop so I bet katress multiplies the number from the range even when just in party.
I was using this yesterday for two hours but I used the 100X dog coins mod then I found the change medal merchant to gold so I’m good now. I bred a few perfect pals through days of breeding but now I’m able to make all my favourites with less effort
Greetings. I like watching your vids, since they present "non-cheating" technics but I'm not gonna lie I have everything maxed out in the settings and now I feel less joy when farming. I got into glitches with Tears Of The Kingdom. Anyway, so when you kill a pal in the water the items sink, you cant dive to retrieve them so, best option is to have a Mountable Pal that moves on the ground like the dogs or the walking mountains, if you mount and go in the water you will get the items. As for sinking pals I would not know I haven't seen any sink so I don't know which ones do. Hope this helps with water retrieving items. Keep the vids comming.

so what do you need Dog Coins for? I thought the most useful is Concentrated All Purpose Pal Extract... but it really just save you the work for 64 pal condensation, that's it? I can breed in 3 breeding farms so it is 3 x 20 pals in 1.5 hours, automatic, no work needed. So why would I waste 3 or 5 hours getting Dog Coins just to raise it by 1 rank? (3 star to 4 star). It won't make it 5 star by the way, right?
Yeah I’m using Blazehowl Noct and fighting with him, and I’m still only getting around 26 per kill! Seems not right since my Blazehowl Noct is almost 5 star
do you have a MOD so that when you discard something, it ADDs instead of subtract? So when you discard 100 stones, it adds 100 stones to you instead. So if you discard 50 Dog Coins, and you get 100 now. 100 becomes 200. 200 becomes 400, 800, 1600, 3200, 6400, 12800, 25600, 51200, 102400... and soon you hope you have less Dog Coins
I'm not sure on the best way to find Mimogs but the way to stop them from getting away from you is put blockades around them before attacking them. It will trap them in the area you made and you can kill them even if you are not that powerful.
Mimog glow at night. So if you're not opposed to changing the world settings, you can also have longer nights to make their search easier.

Southern sandbar sakurajima, I fly around on jetragon and i can usually get 4-5k in like 15 minutes (3x spawn rate and max upgrade katress)
near the second tower there's like a ravine with lava in the middle that's where i find them
Same here. If I farm the 1st lil volcano by the 2nd tower I get 3-4k and hour with 3x spawn.
Yep I do this area aswell and they take tick damage cause of the heat so they are really easy to spot.

When I charge with rushboar, they get knocked back and take damage, but they dont run away. thats how I farmed them early game.
Cats passive ability gives you 80% more loot. Not sure where you got 300% from. Even the website you were checking clearly states that 😂
The Volcano area near the desert go back and forth and you will find them sometime in the lova taking damage.

2 item that are very good to, you need 100 to unlock 3rd accessory slot, then you need 1000 to unlock the 4th slot
And you can buy potions that increase your stats and ones that those the same for pals
