Don't use Cloudflare Tunnels for video

  • In this video I explain why you shouldn't use Cloudflare Tunnels for Blue Iris or any other video streaming application. Cloudflare tunnels also doesn't work for file upload size of more than 100MB or for excessive photo transfer. Even if you pay for the service, these limitations persist.
Cloudflare Tunnel is tunneling software that lets you quickly secure and encrypt application traffic to any type of infrastructure, so you can hide your web server IP addresses, block direct attacks, and get back to delivering great applications.

I was checking the terms and they removed the 2.8 clause. Also you checked the terms for Cache, I don't think just a tunnel service will make any use of cache

I believe you can create a page rule for the hostname you picked for Blue Iris and set the Cache Level to Bypass. Since the hostname you picked becomes a CNAME in the records of the domain you're using. And any records in the DNS section can be managed via Page Rules :)

@@limabegum9102that's what they state but a lot of people seem to be using this for Plex. I have no interest in doing that since I hardly ever feel the need to stream effin movies or tvshows to my phone but people are doing it so there must be something they're doing to not get flagged.

I have been running zero tier IP address on my cell phone and home windows systems/BI with success. Its a bit tricky to set up and once an Zero TIer IP address is activated ZT is good .
At times its takes a few attempts to establish initial zero tier IP but its good for the rest of time I'm using it remotely.

3:08 No, it's not "even if you're a paid subscriber". The terms specifically say that it's "unless purchased separately as part of a Paid Service". If you're a paid subscriber you can use the Tunnel for video.
