We didn’t make these immense and powerful machines. And for a cosmic accident to do so, still assuming your moral relativism isn’t a thing- then that would be very hard thing to explain! Finally, Miranda, first step to understanding that God is real, from me, Ayden, so that you may understand the truth, is realizing; that God is the basis that this country, the United States I presume you live in, was created on. In our pledge we say ‘one nation under God.’ Many nations and countries and establishments were created by this basis, not just the United States, to become great, and to strive for truth… Let’s say you took a trip to Africa and decided to go with your friends on a boating trip, and along the way you get lost. There are two alternate universes; one where you arrive to an unknown island, and a group of angry tribal men bombard your boat with arrows. You and your friends become pierced and die! Now in the other timeline; you arrive to this island. The tribal men are angry… but they believe in God. You live, they rescue you, and turn you into the government officials to be brought back to where you came. You should understand; the mere idea of God, has created so much good. The most good. Ever. And so atheism is a dangerous place my dear. The phrase "uncovering nakedness" (*'ervah* in Hebrew) is often used in the context of sexual relations, particularly in passages discussing prohibited sexual conduct. 1. **Leviticus 18:6** - "None of you shall approach any blood relative of his to uncover nakedness; I am the Lord." 2. **Leviticus 18:7** - "You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father, that is, the nakedness of your mother. It is lewdness." 13. **Leviticus 18:18** - "You shall not marry a woman in addition to her sister as a rival while she is alive, to uncover her nakedness." 14. **Leviticus 20:11** - "If a man lies with his father’s wife, he has uncovered his father’s nakedness; both of them shall surely be put to death, their bloodguiltiness is upon them." 15. **Leviticus 20:17** - "If there is a man who takes his sister, his father’s daughter or his mother’s daughter, so that he sees her nakedness and she sees his nakedness, it is a disgrace; and they shall be cut off in the sight of the sons of their people. He has uncovered his sister’s nakedness; he bears his guilt." 16. **Leviticus 20:19** - "You shall not uncover the nakedness of your mother’s sister or of your father’s sister, for such a one has made naked his blood relative; they will bear their guilt." 17. **Leviticus 20:20** - "If there is a man who lies with his uncle’s wife, he has uncovered his uncle’s nakedness; they will bear their sin. They will die childless." 18. **Leviticus 20:21** - "If there is a man who takes his brother’s wife, it is abhorrent; he has uncovered his brother’s nakedness. They will be childless."
Also, the way he went and told his brothers sounds to me to seek humiliating his father, that's why he called his brothers, so they too could laugh at him, that's why they were looking backwards so they don't fall into that
It's how God deals with punishing the evil that people have a problem with. They want God to pluck them out of existence suddenly and without warning. But people fail to connect the fact that we, as people, effectively told God we want to be separate from Him. And so, since God honored our request, He works through us to remove evil from the world. One of the consequences of us wanting to be separate from God, is that when evil is to be taken out of the world, the means that it's done with its messy at best.
Thats because all human beings are flawed and a hypocrite. We as humans must come to terms that we are not perfect. We are not always right. We almost always choose our ego over everything else during our decision making. We are very acceptable and very surely capable to do evil. We are sinners. And when people who doesnt come into terms with what they are, they reject god, run away from god, deny god, doesnt even have any amount of interest to god. Hence, they dont want to study or do research or any intellectual thinking when it comes to the existence or teaching of god and the gospels.
@@KasperKatje I mean yea if you think that’s God fault rather than the humans who do that act then sure it’s his fault by your way of thinking, but god has the ultimate insurance of heaven and hell so he doesn’t need to interfere here and now, ppl who murder and grape and cheat others and steal without repentance will already get their punishment for their evil that they’ve inflicted on others.
I do not know if cliff realizes it but if you take this guy's message all the way to the end point. It is the progressive message that nobody should ever be punished for anything because there is a reason for everything. Nobody truly has any free will to make their own choices. His argument of not wanting to hurt people and loving people does not hold any water when other people Are actively hurting others. Cliff basically explained this immediately and then he went crazy later screaming like a social Justice Warrior
@@simshengvue5799 wow that is deep. He really was just saying don't punish them don't give them justice to the people that died and the children they burned alive.
@@simshengvue5799 Both Cliffe and that guy were getting heated with each other so I don't think it's quite right to call him an SJW for that. It was immediately obvious to me that the guy was well-read and really knew what he was talking about, like more than me even. That's why that conversation was difficult - I think most of the people Cliffe debates with haven't really studied the Bible or taken the Word seriously, let alone other writings from other theologians, and this is one of the few times Cliffe is discussing with someone who genuinely has. Running through the back of my mind in that conversation though was that I think that guy didn't quite understand that death on Earth isn't the end; if it was, I think the death of innocent children and babies for the sins of their parents would have been completely inexcusable. But because we know there is a heaven and that the innocent caught in the crossfire of evil will ultimately be given proper justice, as well as the ones that did evil, then I have a much easier time coming to terms with what was done and why it had to be done. The man wasn't quite getting that though, and I think that's why Cliffe was getting frustrated, because he wasn't sure how else to explain that. The next step I think would be for the man to come to terms with the idea of ultimate justice.
i just wanted you to know that God loves you. How? It means that you can ask God for help. And when you do ask God for help you glorify him. You glorify him when you ask because in doing so you say God you are worthy to help me through this situation. It’s like if I asked you for help on a math test. I ask you for help because I think that you know how to solve the problem I’m dealing with. Because I think that you’re smart in some way shape or form.
Cliff is evidence of fruit of the Spirit. The professor came charging in with many accusations. But Cliff spoke to him without demeaning him or antagonizing him. What’s sad is that the professor’s idea of choosing to deny certain parts of Scripture and God in the name of Jesus is ultimately saying that he himself decides what Jesus stood, who God is, and what justice is. Pride wrapped in a lot of fancy words. Pray for his soul.

@peaceandfood7952 nope. Just in context. It would behoove you to not pluck out verses of the Bible and actually read it in context. Who was Leviticus written to? Why does there have to be more ? looking at your father while he's naked by itself is wicked. If my son looked at me like that I'd go get my riffle from the garage
scripture before, the younger son sees his dad Noah drunken and naked (likely in part bc he was depressed, the world had been flooded), and it says he told his brothers (and was like making fun of him). I think seeing his father's nakedness was not a sin; what was the sin was when he told his brothers about his father's nakedness-disrespecting his father and trying to undermine his authority. Unless there was/is a language translation that would point to another potential interpretation. The sin was disrespecting his mother and father and intentionally undermining his father's authority.
Cliff saying “I have that right! Get a life!” made me laugh out loud. Cliff was so so patient with an obviously bitter, cold hearted individual who just..wouldn’t ever listen no matter what was said. He didn’t come to this event to listen but to fight.

In regards to the "why have you forsaken me" question, it's also Jesus alluding to Psalm 22. Remember back then the word of God did not have chapter/verse. Teachers would quote the beginning of a section in order for others to know where they were at. Jesus is pointing to the old testament saying, "This is me. READ IT!" I will post all of psalm 22 after this sentence, so that you can read and see just how beautiful this confusing line from Jesus really is: Psalm 22: My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? Why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring? 2O my God, I cry in the daytime, but thou hearest not; And in the night season, and am not silent. 3But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel. 4Our fathers trusted in thee: They trusted, and thou didst deliver them. 5They cried unto thee, and were delivered: They trusted in thee, and were not confounded. 6But I am a worm, and no man; A reproach of men, and despised of the people. 7All they that see me laugh me to scorn: They shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying, 8He trusted on the LORD that he would deliver him: Let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him. 9But thou art he that took me out of the womb: Thou didst make me hope when I was upon my mother's breasts. 10I was cast upon thee from the womb: Thou art my God from my mother's belly. 11Be not far from me; for trouble is near; For there is none to help. 12Many bulls have compassed me: Strong bulls of Bashan have beset me round. 13They gaped upon me with their mouths, As a ravening and a roaring lion. 14I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: My heart is like wax; It is melted in the midst of my bowels. 15My strength is dried up like a potsherd; And my tongue cleaveth to my jaws; And thou hast brought me into the dust of death. 16For dogs have compassed me: The assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: They pierced my hands and my feet. 17I may tell all my bones: They look and stare upon me. 18They part my garments among them, And cast lots upon my vesture. 19But be not thou far from me, O LORD: O my strength, haste thee to help me. 20Deliver my soul from the sword; My darling from the power of the dog. 21Save me from the lion's mouth: For thou hast heard me from the horns of the unicorns. 22I will declare thy name unto my brethren: In the midst of the congregation will I praise thee. 23Ye that fear the LORD, praise him; All ye the seed of Jacob, glorify him; And fear him, all ye the seed of Israel. 24For he hath not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; Neither hath he hid his face from him; But when he cried unto him, he heard. 25My praise shall be of thee in the great congregation: I will pay my vows before them that fear him. 26The meek shall eat and be satisfied: They shall praise the LORD that seek him: Your heart shall live for ever. 27All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the LORD: And all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee. 28For the kingdom is the LORD's: And he is the governor among the nations. 29All they that be fat upon earth shall eat and worship: All they that go down to the dust shall bow before him: And none can keep alive his own soul. 30A seed shall serve him; It shall be accounted to the LORD for a generation. 31They shall come, and shall declare his righteousness Unto a people that shall be born, that he hath done this. Also, the way he went and told his brothers sounds to me to seek humiliating his father, that's why he called his brothers, so they too could laugh at him, that's why they were looking backwards so they don't fall into that
Excellent comment!
I love how ppl say why does God allow evil but then when he does do something about it it’s immoral and bad
@@Artanis15 Boy you're right about that
It's how God deals with punishing the evil that people have a problem with.
Well, he allowed slavery and grape and did nothing about it.
Is that a better critique?
@@KasperKatje I mean yea if you think that’s God fault rather than the humans who do that act then sure it’s his fault by your way of thinking, but god has the ultimate insurance of heaven and hell so he doesn’t need to interfere here and now, ppl who murder and grape and cheat others and steal without repentance will already get their punishment for their evil that they’ve inflicted on others.
That conversation Cliffe had with that first guy was one of the most challenging I've seen on this channel...
I ❤ cliff
i just wanted you to know that God loves you. How? He gave up His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ to die on the cross to take the punishment for our sins, so that if we confess our sins (we can one, be cleansed from unrighteousness (check out 1 john 1:9), and repent, and by God's grace and through Jesus's commendable sacrifice we can be forgiven
"Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.” -Psalms 50:15
I dont understand could you explain please

I couldn't agree more! ❤

isn’t it referring to Noah seeing that he was covered? isn’t that a good thing, to cover his nakedness? why was he punished, what are you inferring that the youngest son did to his father?
@driftingdandelion the youngest son told his 2 brothers of his father's nakedness and he didn't cover his dad up , his brothers did.
His other brother did right, by covering their fathers nakedness and not looking at him. Because of what the younger son did, Noah got upset and cursed him

Man, that professor's hackles really got raised once Cliff brought up going back to the original Hewbrew. READ IT!" I will post all of psalm 22 after this sentence, so that you can read and see just how beautiful this confusing line from Jesus really is:
Psalm 22:
My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
Why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring?
2O my God, I cry in the daytime, but thou hearest not;
And in the night season, and am not silent.
3But thou art holy,
O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.
4Our fathers trusted in thee:
They trusted, and thou didst deliver them.
5They cried unto thee, and were delivered:
They trusted in thee, and were not confounded.
6But I am a worm, and no man;
A reproach of men, and despised of the people.
7All they that see me laugh me to scorn:
They shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying,
8He trusted on the LORD that he would deliver him:
Let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him.
9But thou art he that took me out of the womb:
Thou didst make me hope when I was upon my mother's breasts.
10I was cast upon thee from the womb:
Thou art my God from my mother's belly.
11Be not far from me; for trouble is near;
For there is none to help.
12Many bulls have compassed me:
Strong bulls of Bashan have beset me round.
13They gaped upon me with their mouths,
As a ravening and a roaring lion.
14I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint:
My heart is like wax; It is melted in the midst of my bowels.
15My strength is dried up like a potsherd; And my tongue cleaveth to my jaws;
And thou hast brought me into the dust of death.
16For dogs have compassed me:
The assembly of the wicked have inclosed me:
They pierced my hands and my feet. 17I may tell all my bones:
They look and stare upon me.
18They part my garments among them,
And cast lots upon my vesture.
19But be not thou far from me, O LORD:
O my strength, haste thee to help me.
20Deliver my soul from the sword;
My darling from the power of the dog.
21Save me from the lion's mouth:
For thou hast heard me from the horns of the unicorns.
22I will declare thy name unto my brethren:
In the midst of the congregation will I praise thee.
23Ye that fear the LORD, praise him;
All ye the seed of Jacob, glorify him; And fear him, all ye the seed of Israel.
24For he hath not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted;
Neither hath he hid his face from him; But when he cried unto him, he heard.
25My praise shall be of thee in the great congregation:
I will pay my vows before them that fear him.
26The meek shall eat and be satisfied:
They shall praise the LORD that seek him: Your heart shall live for ever.
27All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the LORD:
And all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee.
28For the kingdom is the LORD's:
And he is the governor among the nations.
29All they that be fat upon earth shall eat and worship:
All they that go down to the dust shall bow before him:
And none can keep alive his own soul.
30A seed shall serve him;
It shall be accounted to the LORD for a generation.
31They shall come, and shall declare his righteousness
Unto a people that shall be born, that he hath done this.

What does that say about anything. Who cares if a guy teaching the youth doesn't know anything about the Bible? It's not necessary knowledge or knowledge worth having and it's not even knowledge, it's a made up story. These two are out here teaching this stuff like it's true or it even matters and it's just silly. Millions of people live their every day life without this nonsense in it and they're fine. Besides, the two he is debating are dishonest interlocutors. They're not even real people, they're trolls. They actually believe this stuff or at least they say they do, we're not even sure, but they don't care what the other person has to say. They're just there
