Special thanks for Outlaw Moon Games and Toys for letting us shoot in their awesome space. / outlawmoongames
Seeing that last dragon come out and hearing their comments, I couldn't help but remember Spongebob crying "I'M A GOOD NOODLE!!!" xD
this was a pretty cool haul. I got my first box for Christmas, a tyranny of dragon's box like those. and I got 2 dragon's in one box, a red and a brass dragon
Always having one big figure is such a smart move.
Their Star Wars like ended up with a lot of rares scalping because people would pick up the boxes and only choose the heavier ones.
Also having more common/uncommon large figures is good.
i died when you made that space balls reference...thank you for that :,)
did you notice the green hag kinda looks like emperor palpatine from the robot chicken SW bits?
Ha! So great at the end when she was laughing and could hardly finish. :-D Also yeah, They really need to get on making more female characters!
in our session we are fighting wraith like creatures right now
The stone giant is good as long as they are left alone.
The Wy in Wyvern sounds like Why, so it's like "whyvern"
A "hag" is a very particular type of Fey in D&D, and in old British mythology too! They're discussed in Froud & Lee's book "Faeries", and are even depicted as a separate race of non-human creatures in the Harry Potter books. It's sort of like "harpy" or "ogre" -- a mythological term which was then popularized as an insult for a particular sex. :P
Awakeandalive1 Also, apparently, the smurfneb...svirnfeb...[looks it up] "Svirfneblin" are a race of hideous subterranean gnomes!
I'm pretty sure that the dark dwarf guy's race is pronounced smurf-eb-lem (like a smurf) but I'm not certain because that's just how I remember Chris Perkins saying it, and I always could've remembered wrong, that frost giant looked badass by the way, cool video guys!
I also love the way that you guys are addressing the make to female ratio of these minis, because whatever gender the majority of d&d players may be (which I don't know the answer to by the way) the are just as many women as there are men in the world, I don't think it's a horrible vile thing for them to include less female minis or anything that extreme, but I agree that it should definitely be much closer to and if not be 50/50
They're Sverfneblin they are a race of deep Gnomes Big time Miners like the Dwarves. they used to be able to control Earth Elementals I didnt like this edition Of D& D so I went to Pathfinder so I dont know the new set up.
True story, I have a character named Vespah, Daughter of Rolland in DDO. Big spoiler, she's a Druid.
I love that movie. Big Mel Brooks fan.
The only thing more hilarious is the Inquisition.
/me totally got that 'druish' joke...
...
/me feels old...
Pegasus could outfly the wyvern, but the Wyvern would win if it gets ahold of the pegasus.
Truly a chase and battle for the ages. Hollywood, make this happen!
Boiling water will also work to bend back the plastic figures.
Does that affect the paint?
Dragons have 4 legs and wyverns have 2 and so all dragons in skyrim are really Wyverns
Technically the dragons in skyrim do have 4 legs as there front legs are merged with there wings
Technically the dragons in skyrim do have 4 legs as there front legs are merged with there wings
+HiiPER MaaDMaan that's exactly what a Wyvern is. A dragon wich the frontal legs merged with wings.
game of thrones too.
A proper western dragon is like the one from Dragonheart. Four legs with two wings on it’s back.
I really want a red dragon in my unboxing of a miniture box.
Pick the heaviest box you find. It holds a red and bronze dragon.
i subbed because both of you are awesome.
I get just as excited about dragons too :) #heartthedragons
Dragons! It's not like the game is called Dungeons & Tarrasques. Sorry, Tarrasques.
Brandon Z *looking up tarrasques*
...me too.
Are you afraid yet?
Looks cool. How many banks do I need to rob to afford one?
Well now I have to buy a box or two so i can be as excited as a 12 year old girl
Anyone got venom fang
You forgot the Dungeons & Dragons Online MMO.
There is a prestige class in D&D 3rd Edition that she would love. The Dragonslayer dalelandsbeyond.forumotion.com/t3680-dragonslayer. If the players were to get Neverwinter Nights 2 they could recreate their characters in perhaps the Realm of Trinity persistent world (made completely by D&D players) with up to 4 classes + prestige classes at once (including the Bladesinger prestige class dalelandsbeyond.forumotion.com/t3696-bladesinger) Might be fun for fans to hang out online and game with the group if they are interested. ua-cam.com/video/jNfwjIp5U6Q/v-deo.html
Svirfneblin (Siverf-Nehb-Lin) = DEEP gnome.... Duergar (Doo-Er-Gar) - dark dwarf...
actually i remember something about the wiccan comunity sueing the companies fopr using the word "witch" for monsters.. so they had to use "hag" instead...
and witches and hags aren't really the same thing.. in a very strict sense..
wyvern!
