Introduced a whole slew of new fans who after playing the video game discovered the miniatures. the stock rise started around september which was the release of the game. as a fan since the early 90s I'm holding my judgement until the wokeness reflects in the miniatures. Inspite of them backing femtodes from tourist, the range does not reflect this, for now.

A lot of people don't have space, time or desire to mess with cancerogenic resin, so while it is "all the rage" - realistically less than 5% of hobbyists actually have a printer good enough for minis. And even those printers - produce worse quality than ready-made commercial models.
I don't mind Pokémon characters having the same anime male and female models for the figures because it is for the sake of recognition. Generations 1-4 art styles are fine. I never support Kirby figures having the Call of Duty designs.
