    Just built a slightly modified version of this assembly table using your plans. I absolutely love it!! Thanks, John! I reduced the height of the side doors and replaced the top drawers on both ends with 'cubbies' so I can keep clamps and tools off the table when working.

    Hey john! I love your channel and I may borrow some ideas from this workbench. If I can make a suggestion (and I dont know what hardware you're using right now, so forgive me), but upgrading your mic that you're doing voiceovers with, with perhaps a Blue Snowball (sub $50) and a pop filter could really up your voiceover game. It's amazing how cheap and good they sound!

    • @JohnBuildsIt
      @JohnBuildsIt  2 роки тому +1

      The sad thing is, this is a highly recommended $250+ microphone haha. I did this voiceover like 8 times and this was as good as I could get it before getting too frustrated. I don’t get this stuff lol, going to go back to my old mic for now

    • @MikeGusFifteen
      @MikeGusFifteen 2 роки тому

      @@JohnBuildsIt I'm not an audiophile, but depending on the mic and what software u use, you can probly dial that bad boy in real good! But ya that sorta work is pretty frustrating.. I usually just find a UA-cam tutorial vid of someone with the same mic as me and copy their settings and tweak from there. Good luck!

    • @davidherd3739
      @davidherd3739 2 роки тому +1

      Fellas, I work professionally in video production and agree with Mike’s suggestion. Blue Snowball is made by Yeti-my go to company for web-based voiceovers. Any yeti mic will work wonders for clean sound.

    Love your work! I'm a graphic designer and I was a kitchen and bath designer for 15 years working for Lowes and other big box stores. I started making my own cabinets simply because its easy and I love working with wood and combining my art with my projects. I heard you say you are in Indiana. I lived in Portage for some years selling cabinets for Lowes but I moved back to Illinois where I run a custom airbrush shop at one of the local amusement parks. We should totally do a collaboration piece. Love the Ariat gear too. Totally my style

      Just spacing for your specific material. There are 2 that are closer together that are great for like a 1x2, and the outside 2 are good for a 1x4. So you can drill without having to unclamp and move the piece

    You should probably mention in your plans that the cultist does not follow grain direction Also does not have blade kerf calculated so some of the cuts have to be spot on with no room
    For error, also the middle door hinges should be on the same side if on opposite side this will not allow the center shelve to be pulled out.

      There’s room for 1/8” blade kerf between every piece on every sheet. Tilt the shelf and it easily pulls out like most cabinets with face frames.

    My local Lowe's did away with Birch and now carries Maple at 79 bucks a sheet. Four weeks ago, it was 99 bucks a sheet.

    In regards of custom sign made with the CNC, how do you advertise in order to have them ''come without even trying'' ?

    • @JohnBuildsIt
      @JohnBuildsIt  Рік тому

      People just ask me to make them. Word of mouth, etc. I don’t advertise that I do

      It’s a new idea Dustopper is working on with their separator, check out their channel for vids on it 👍🏽

    Also do you have a video on that top on your shop vac in the back round? Just it just add capacity or does have a cyclone effect?

    • @JohnBuildsIt
      @JohnBuildsIt  2 роки тому +1

      It’s a new idea Dustopper is working on. They’re starting to put videos about it on their channel if you want to check it out. Basically puts the Dustopper separator inside the vac to eliminate hoses, and have the full capacity of your vacuum instead of a 5 gallon bucket
