So yall can keep track: "gavin!" is jack "gavin?" is geoff "the tru tru" is ryan "fakin j" is jeremy (obviously) "not fackin!!" is trevor and "le sauce" is alfredo (obviously, its a pun)
When you start this game (when entering your name I believe), they warn you to use your real names so you can easily know who is who. I think they should have taken that advice considering how confused they were on who was who for most of the video.
*Listening to Off Topic #79* "Hmm, they're hyping that Faking It video so much, I can't wait for it to come out" *Literally the second the podcast ends* "Lets Play has released a new video: Faking It with Alfredo"
I wish the editors kept them fullscreen the whole time and the game footage in the corner. There's not much to watch on the game screen, but plenty to watch from them.
For those saying that some of the rounds are unfair for the faker: the prompts get more and more difficult to fake as the round goes on, with the third being extremely difficult to fake
Alright, the game works like this: There are 3 rounds, each one a chance to find the "Faker". On each round everyone gets the same prompt except the Faker. The Faker does not know what to do, so they need to BS it. After everyone does the action the prompt says, they vote on who they think is the Faker. For example: The prompt is "point at the person who knows most about Star Wars". Everyone points at Jack of course; except Geoff. He is the Faker so doesn't know the prompt and points at someone else. Everyone else unanimously voted for Geoff, because of his mess-up. (However I wouldn't have to make this comment if they had just watched the intro tutorial!) (Ryan!!!)
I don't know what everyone was complaining about. Yeah it was confusing at the beginning, but that made it funny when Ryan messed up. From then on it was insanely entertaining. I, for one would LOVE more videos of them playing this. They seemed to legitimately enjoy playing it, and it is a genius game.
Not really. Just record the main screen, an audience screen (probably Jack's to get the secret tasks) along with the group camera. Jack's doesn't have to be synched, just put the task on the screen. Really, all they would need is a screenshot for the tasks.
Not going to lie... I was about halfway through the video when I finally realized why Alfredo named his character "le sauce"... On a separate (but not completely unrelated) note, I first thought that this game was going to be something about a fake, Italian chef.
Brandon Galvan I thought Alfredo was a hamster that belonged to achievement hunter because I had no idea any parents were high enough to name their child that.
the food question seemed somewhat reasonable to me once you understand how that specific gametype works, they give the faker a question that involves a specific topic but is near-opposite in content to the actual question. jack just fucked that up bc he answered the fake question truthfully instead of trying to figure out a near-opposite.
But with the text game the faker doesnt realize they are the faker until the real questions go up, so there would be no reason to try to answer opposite to the question. You have to answer truthfully and just hope that it's the real question.
are we sure that the faker isnt told they're the faker? bc i assumed that confusion was a result of AH just being... well... not the brightest tacks in the shed
For those of you who don't understand the game -A catergory is chosen and that is how they will answer the questions -Everyone has the prompt appear on the screen (the one we see on the bottom left), except the faker. -The fakers screen will say something along the lines of "You are the faker, try to blend in" for all the prompts for that round. - The way the faker wins is if nobody guesses they were the faker by them blending in with the other in answering the questions. Sometimes this is easily done, like in the raising the hand catergory, then like in the final round its almost impossible for that faker to win.
Not too bad: Each round has people answer prompts with various methods (e.g. raising hands, holding fingers, etc). Faker does not know the prompt so has to blend in. People vote on who they think faker is.
Joseph Shin It's not because of him. It's because of them once again skipping the tutorial and not using their actual names so we have to spend the first 10 minutes of the video figuring out who everyone is and how the game works.
The game is not that hard to figure out. Everyone is given a prompt and someone has to BS. Then everyone has to figure out who's a lying sack of shite. And why would they use their actual names in a game that they've never played before and don't know that identifying each other is necessary?
To be fair, why don't they always use their own name, it would just make it simpler and easier for us to know what is winning. Even in drawful or quiplash it can be a little confusing trying to work out who is who with the absurd name choices.
Where's the fun in that? Them NOT using their names allows them to be funny with it, allows them to have some control of the game, or just outright give us a small giggle as they piece together the game.
Why the hell is this comment section having such a hard time figuring out what is going on? This is an extremely simple game that I figured out after the first round, I hope they play more of it.
Ohhhhhh okay, I got it. So there's 6 of them, but one of them is the "faker." They all get the same prompt except for the faker, but it's the faker's job to act like he got the prompt. For example, they all got the same "Point at the person who knows the most about Star Wars" but Geoff didn't get the prompt, so he didn't know what he's supposed to do. So he pointed as a random person because he had to play it off like he got the prompt as well because he's the faker. When his pointing didn't make sense, the rest knew that he was the faker.
I love Alfredo being there in this video was a special thing because he's in the title and now he wants to murder Ryan in golf videos and doesn't know what a FUPA is 😂
After watchung the most recent TTT and seeing everyone complain about Jack. It is very nice to see this video to be reminded that Jack is just a big softy.
"This one's tough". "Especially if you're a sociopath and you don't understand human emotions". That Trevor kid is the right type of funny.
So yall can keep track:
"gavin!" is jack
"gavin?" is geoff
"the tru tru" is ryan
"fakin j" is jeremy (obviously)
"not fackin!!" is trevor
and "le sauce" is alfredo (obviously, its a pun)
DeadVictory I like that pun
When you start this game (when entering your name I believe), they warn you to use your real names so you can easily know who is who. I think they should have taken that advice considering how confused they were on who was who for most of the video.
DeadVictory you are a saint, I came to the comments looking for this lol
It's not a pun, actually, it's a play on words
+SheNoob087 nah, I think its more a joke making use of the different meanings of one word.
*Listening to Off Topic #79*
"Hmm, they're hyping that Faking It video so much, I can't wait for it to come out"

Did it live up to the hype?
About on par. So yeah imo.

Hopefully there’s a fanfic out there where RWBY and JNPR play Fakin’ It...
@@DrWARDOG You know, I occasionally daydream about those 2 teams playing Jackbox back in the Beacon days.
30:30 Ryan reading the question to defend himself
"Ok, look" 😂
23:49 If anyone was paying attention at all, they would've known it was Jeremy. "Oh" that's the face I was supposed to emulate
I wish the editors kept them fullscreen the whole time and the game footage in the corner. There's not much to watch on the game screen, but plenty to watch from them.
Lys M that's a good suggestion
Geoff directed at Ryan: "he's a space nerd!"
(Ryan wearing a NASA shirt)
For those saying that some of the rounds are unfair for the faker: the prompts get more and more difficult to fake as the round goes on, with the third being extremely difficult to fake
23:49 When Little J gave himself away but no one noticed
This was so much fun to watch! The ways Ryan got found out were hilarious. They gotta do it again with Gavin and Michael.
Alright, the game works like this:

(Ryan!!!)
Dylan Gilmour thx for the explanation. i hate when they skip the tutorial for new games then they dont know how to play and the video is just ruined
How did people not get this? I figured it out after a round, same time as they figured it out.
Thank you!!
unfortuntely, we don't know what the rest of them have to do, but we're told what the faker is doing
Heh, so Ryan won the first round AS he skipped the rules.
"Ok, look..."
- Ryan Haywood, 2017
Turns out the Mad King is a terrible liar
"Point at the person who probably knows the most about Star Wars" Would have been really obvious if the faker pointed at Gavin, if he was in the room.
"Who gives the best hugs?"
**everyone points at Jack**
Me: Aaaw~
They should do FaceCam more often when playing games like this.
roderickuw well this video would be boring without it lol you kind of have to see what they are doing
busterbackster1
The joke >>>>>
Your head
It makes them look like a real famliy
Also, who else was playing along with the prompts
@@waterllama313 no need to be an asshole
That was a little confusing at first but it was pretty easy to figure out once the first round was over
Starting this off without any explanation on how the game works, I was as confused as Ryan during that first game :D
Being like Ryan is never a bad thing haha
+Simon Petrikov Agreed! :)

Dangerous words to live by
Ice phoenix me to i was wtf is.this.for confusing stuff..
I hope they do more cause this was brilliant :)
I liked it too, I think I prefer the other Jack Box games for let's plays though ;p
Not really. Just record the main screen, an audience screen (probably Jack's to get the secret tasks) along with the group camera. Jack's doesn't have to be synched, just put the task on the screen. Really, all they would need is a screenshot for the tasks.

Lmao Jeremy, loudly exclaiming “OH!” when he read the UFC question.
Not going to lie... I was about halfway through the video when I finally realized why Alfredo named his character "le sauce"...
On a separate (but not completely unrelated) note, I first thought that this game was going to be something about a fake, Italian chef.
this! hahahahaha
Same. I thought the game was called "Fakin' It with Alfredo", and that Alfredo was that silhouette character..
I still haven't figured out the "le sauce" thing :c
Brandon Galvan I thought Alfredo was a hamster that belonged to achievement hunter because I had no idea any parents were high enough to name their child that.
I DOUBT THAT HIGHLY RYAN.
Was anyone else pointing at Jack for best hugs before they even had to?
TheOzzieNerd I was playing along with the whole game
please play more, i love this, and there's no more sourcefed to watch play it
This game seems broken as hell against the fakers with some of those tasks.
Granted it's not the most balanced game, but it's a party game and not designed for competitive play.
Yeah, the food question was absolutely bullshit for the faker.
the food question seemed somewhat reasonable to me once you understand how that specific gametype works, they give the faker a question that involves a specific topic but is near-opposite in content to the actual question. jack just fucked that up bc he answered the fake question truthfully instead of trying to figure out a near-opposite.

Don't you guys just LOVE how clear they make who they are with their usernames?
this is hilarious, please do another
In Ryan's defence, the first time I played this I had no idea when I was the faker.
Nice last name
glad they skipped the rules so we all know what the fuck is going on
Tim Allen if you can't find out how the game works within the first category then you need help
Not too bad:
Each round has people answer prompts with various methods (e.g. raising hands, holding fingers, etc). Faker does not know the prompt so has to blend in. People vote on who they think faker is.
Tim Allen are you stupid?
Tim Allen use common sense buddy it might be hard sense you have never used but try
sick burn
19:00 me too Ryan, I lived an hour _at best_ away from my high school
I like the singular camera for this. :P Perfect. The Jack Box games are hilarious and amazing to watch AH play.
I like this game, i like these people.
I liked this video, but the 'hold up just your outer fingers' was one of my faves. I cracked up like the rest of the group towards Geoff.XD
Watching this after the destiny raid. Can’t help but grin when Ryan says learn by doing.
I like how it was Ryan who skipped the tutorial and then messed up. Hilarious game!
More of this. Please more of this. This was incredible
I agree with them, I do think Jack would give the best hugs.
how do you wipe with less than 4 fingers
I like how everyone gets mad at (that certain guy) for not knowing in the first round, but if you think about it, he did everything right
OMG How did I just realize Ryan said "Learn By Doing" in the first AH video with Alfredo??? Foreshadowing!! 0:25
"...and their special guest, Alfredo Diaz," and from that point on Achievement Hunter had new boi in it's grasp.
I love that Gavin is always made into a joke, even upon his absence. Examples would be this Let's Play and Schooled Season 2.
This turned out to be a lot of fun. I really hope they do more.
I never knew how much I appreciated separate Mics until now
Why are people disliking this alfredo is not annoying and this game is good???
Joseph Shin It's not because of him. It's because of them once again skipping the tutorial and not using their actual names so we have to spend the first 10 minutes of the video figuring out who everyone is and how the game works.
Kragthor boo boo I'm crying for you
The game is not that hard to figure out. Everyone is given a prompt and someone has to BS. Then everyone has to figure out who's a lying sack of shite.

Next level plays by Ryan xD
Can never get enough of a JackBox video!
I love how genuine Ryan was in the first round! 😂😂
this may be my favorite jack box game they have played, please do more!
When Ryan says learn by doing at the start was I the only one who had a flashback to the destiny 2 raid part 4.....
hold up just your outer fingers... Geoff flips the bird. Classic AH
This game is really funny, I hope you guys do more of it!
When Geoff always says "It's never me" during anything like this. It's finally him.
lol loved Geoff and Ryan's answers during the alchohol round
Why the hell is this comment section having such a hard time figuring out what is going on? This is an extremely simple game that I figured out after the first round, I hope they play more of it.
Hahn95 Do you want a medal for that?
Viktor Reznov No, I'm just confused with the comments that all.
I had the game figured out when they talked about it on the podcast...I don't know why everyone else is having a hard time.
Viktor Reznov Do you have to be douche that replies to comments snidely?
hope they do more but with gavin!
This was great and I actually really like Alfredo. Don't mind seeing him on here some more. Hope you guys play this again soon.
Probably one of their most fun let's play to watch
More of this!! This was great! It took me a few minutes to understand the game, but once I did it was great
I liked the editing in this video, I kept rewatching the parts right after they went to see if I guess who it was haha
33:50
Geoff's answer to a show he HASN'T seen? twin peaks. how does no one pick up on that, lol
Ohhhhhh okay, I got it. So there's 6 of them, but one of them is the "faker." They all get the same prompt except for the faker, but it's the faker's job to act like he got the prompt.

You guys really need to play this again it's amazing
Ryan was pretty amazed at the concept of 9 beers. I know people who drink 15+ on the reg.
I love how the first round Ryan didn't even know he was the faker
Ryan's childlike innocence is adorable.
was iffy about it on the first round with the faces but the hands and the fingers and writing ones was pretty good. hope they play it again
with the hugging question i was like "jack looks like hed give the best hugs" and then they all pointed at jack and i was like "yup"
Ryan shrugs when asked how many drinks he can hold. I wonder if he is responsible or a stick in the mud.
Geoffs laugh after the detention question might be the greatest thing ever
I love Alfredo being there in this video was a special thing because he's in the title and now he wants to murder Ryan in golf videos and doesn't know what a FUPA is 😂
I've been waiting for you guys to play it since I watched sourcefed hosts play it.
they need to just do a jack box marathon, these games are great
great video
Oh no, where's our helpful editor who puts their real names under their fake ones? We need you more than ever!
this is the best jackbox game. have been waiting for this video
love how nobody caught on to when Jeremy was the faker after he first read the first prompt by him saying "Oh...."
I like how no one questioned how Geoff was flashing tens for "how many drinks it takes to get you drunk"
I love this game so much! We need a part 2!!!
I'd have been called the faker immediately on that hug question 'cause I would have said Ryan XD
Jack definitely looks the most huggable but I think Ryan's a close second just because of his dorky dadness.
After watchung the most recent TTT and seeing everyone complain about Jack. It is very nice to see this video to be reminded that Jack is just a big softy.
This game is awesome. They should play more for sure.
Jack does seem like he'd give good hugs
Ugh I Iove this game, I played it with a bunch of my friends last summer and we had so much fun
They should've added challenges that make more use of the screen. Besides the writing one, you don't need the screen for anything other than voting
This would be super fun with the main AH crew
Geoff "IT ISNT MEEE" Ramsey is gonna have a hard time convincing people he ain't it after this video lol
I love this so much.
8 minutes in, already enjoying it.
Please play more of this!!!
I definitely agree with Alfredo about “Arrow”... it starts off pretty good but quickly goes downhill a few seasons in :/
first couple of rounds, i thought this was not fun to watch, after that, i could not stop laughing, i love it a lot.
Fantastic content on your channel. I really enjoy watching your videos.
