Bloody brilliant live. Ms. Leskanich's voice was to die for. In the mid 80s I dreamed of a concert featuring her, Maria McKee and Natalie Merchant together. Can you imagine?
Great song, but isn't "Que te quiero?" ungrammatical? As I understand it it means "What do you I want". I think what they probably meant was "Que quieres?" (What do you want?). Not that that detracts anything from the song of course...
Uh... No. I'm a native spanish speaker and no, in Que te quiero, the Que makes an affirmative statement. When it has an accent (Qué) it's a question. And it meant That I love you or That I want you -wanting in the romantic way of the word-
@@ariadnamontiel546 can you give us a complete translation? the spanish text is as follows: Que te quiero mi vida, quiero Que te quiero mi vida, quiero Que te quiero mi vida, quiero Que te quiero, quiero Que te quiero, quiero, ooh thank you so much!

They were just fabulous live. Should have been huge.
Brilliant live band. Saw them several times in Cambridge during the 80's they were always great value....
This is one of my favorites of hers!
Katrina & the waves the best!
They were a very good band.
Kimberly Rue (guitar) is a f@#%^$ savant! A style of his own!
@songsamsung
in that case, the word "que" in "que te quiero" is not an interrogative, but a relative, it would mean "that I love you"
I'm spanish. Is an affirmation . Is like :"(that) i love you, my Life, Love you"
I thought that It was " yo te quiero, mi vida, quiero". The 2nd quiero is justo because It fix better with the music.
@markfretwell1
the Cambridge gig i saw them at was Homerton College ... awesome stuff! i roadied my way into the gig ... marvellous experience!

I think the "que" is unnecesary un spanish but probably has a sense un english.
Better to translate like "That i love you", hehe
Kimberley Rew he is though... :)
@DJWildFire Well, "que te quiero" is more "that I want you"...
