Imagine a sinner reading the Quran. It is like basil, because it is sinful, because its inner world is rotten, its taste is bitter but its smell is good. Think of a sinner who commits a sin, is corrupted, has iniquity and does not read the Qur'an. This is like an Abu Jahl watermelon, says the Prophet. (pbuh) There is no good in taste, no good in smell...
