Just bought this set. Couldn't get box in trunk of car. THIS video showed me how to remove the handle, fits in trunk of Chrysler 300c just fine! Love the internet! Great review! Thanks for the info!
👍👌👏👏 really good review , im looking at all the new storage boxes , have been using the Bosch L boxes for a few years , just tired of needing two hands to remove any box from the truck , that's actually one of the good things about the Milwaukee , I'll have to check more about this , but really great review from you 👍 much appreciated.
My wife buy me a black and deker for Christmas and it came broken and couple days before a saw this kobalt tool box and when I look back at it I was on deal I have for 200$ cad taxes in from reno depot wich is pretty cheap but the tool box is at least 2 time sturdier than cheap other brand I absolutly love it cant go wrong !
The blue plastic latches break I have had 2 of them they break every time these hold the stackables together on the sides...im buying something else this time ...when u have to carry up / down stairs its not reliable great box if not for that
Good to know. But like everything in life you can get lemon everywhere. I originally wanted to go with ridgid 2.0 but unfortunately it wasn't available in Canada right now.
Can you roll downstairs without the back of the box hooking on steps ? The Craftman Tadestack I returned hooked on steps. These look pretty good and not too bulky like the Milwaukee is . You have to take the sections apart quickly and have to be not too heavy to go up and down stairs. So many of these systems are just too bulky, and the latch system is too strange . Did Milwaukee even consider you are going to be sliding the boxes full and heavy ?? It's pretty strange and thoughtless engineering . They need to field test them first, in my opinion. ps, the Rigid brand I have are pretty good, but the drawer unit has 3 drawers, and even with minimal and light loading, turn out to be heavy even if they are empty. Strange again if you are engineering a portable unit that comes apart to supposedly go in and out of the truck and stairs 🙄
None of these big companies figure you have to take them apart to go up and down stairs ? Milwaukee must be a bear to lift them and slide them to latch. RIGID is best for me, but, unfortunately, they made the drawer unit too heavy . They should have made just 2 drawers, not 3. I returned the drawers , were just too heavy.....

Glad you like it 🤙. I just wish they would come out with individual boxes and accessories like in the USA 😩
Just picked up 3 @ $119 Black Fri sale
They have a prop that keeps it from closing. Comes with the 24v charger plate kit.
I just got the three box Kobalt Casestack today and love it. Maybe not the best set but didn’t break the bank getting it.

Bought 2 for black friday for $99 each.
Wow awesome I’m guessing that’s in the USA! At that price I would have gotten 2 as well.🤙
