this video was made before I was bale to get Miljenko on my podcast and before any of the other concerts i went to this summer so keep that in mind! Enjoy!!!
“I’ll never let you go!!!!!!!!!” His voice was INCREDIBLE!!! A real underrated band from the 80’s. I appreciate underrated bands/songs such as Autograph, White Lion, Black ‘N Blue, and so much more! It’s really cool you get to meet all these famous Rockstars
They still sounds awesome! I saw them back in the 90’s. Awesome footage Emily!!🎸🎸🎸 You looked so excited when you were talking to Miljenko!! Looked like an amazing evening of rock n roll!!🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸
I was going to go to that show, but by the time i remembered they were going to there it was too late. 😔 they are one of my absolute favorite bands! I saw them twice in the 90’s.. the first time I saw them live, I was blown away! Don’t forget that the Drummer (John Fowler) passed away from a brain aneurysm, the guitarist (Chris Risola) had a double stroke, but has been fighting to come back from that, and has done great! Much respect to the man for that, Milijenco’s (I hope I am spelling his name right) stage accident was messed up though, and I believe it was basically a last minute gig for them (I could be wrong on that) but I got to see them twice at the Newport music hall in Columbus, Oh! Milis/Mike as we knew him back then his vocals were PHENOMENAL! The band was tight and just 2 of my favorite shows of my life! Then if we went to the back of the Newport after the show, they would typically go to their busses (and this was all shows I seen there) and after a while they would come out and talk to us/give us autographs. They also used to bring out tequila on the song Sheila, and I don’t want anyone to say it was filled with anything other than tequila, because I accidentally got some poured into my eyes 😆 and I guess the clubs they played at, didn’t really care for the tequila stunts (just ask Mili about it if you ever talk to him again. But they were great guys to meet and were approachable. The first time I that I saw them, they opened for Lynch mob, the second time a band called kingofthehill, they were a good band also, more on the funk rock side (kind of like Extreme) and personally I loved Tangled in reigns (an album that I still listen to weekly) played the song ‘Mama don’t you cry’ at my mothers showing, the song ‘Steelheart’ is exactly how me and my father were, and ‘All your love’ was the first song that me and my wife's “First dance” at our wedding reception. Not to mention all the other killer songs on that album. The first one was great also, but the second album is my absolute favorite… all of their stuff after those albums as great also I also really enjoy Through the worlds of stardust album as well. So I love seeing you help to keep this band and other bands of my teen years and young adult life…. Keep up the great work Emily. And I asked you if you was at that show, but never got reply, just figured you missed the question.
@@guitarbyemily hey! You’ve earned and deserve it Emily… all your hard work is working out great for you! And I am happy for you. I tried to get my oldest daughter (who also loves the 80’s music) into playing guitar/ bass, but her fingers being double jointed gives her problems. Or she would be doing the same as you 😂 I got her a keyboard, she seems to be doing better with it. And I would help her more, but she lives an hour away from me in Newark, Ohio, so it’s kind f hard for me to just go out there every time she needs help. But she is doing pretty good, and she’s not a bad singer. But enough about my daughter 😂 but seriously… keep up the great work! I, and I am assuming everyone else also, can SEE how much you love what you do! And as long as you love what you do, it will never feel like it is work! And besides I enjoy watching you, because you have only played guitar 2 years more than I have so I kind of (and this may seem kind of odd) but I kind of look up to you when it comes to playing guitar. I learned Reason to live thanks to you (except for the solo, still working on that, Bruce was an underrated guitarist imo. I got that Moises app because of you (and that’s an awesome app). The 2 new songs that I have been working on is 1. The Price 2. I believe in you Both by Twisted sister… I just love the emotion in those 2 songs. Even in Reason to live, in the solo… that emotion. One day I’ll get She’s Gone done right, There’s a bend at the very end of that song, it has GOT to be higher than 1 1/2 steps. I have started to work on it, and I can get parts of it, just not the solo, Chris’ solos are awesome! But that WHOLE band was/is talented! They just came out too late, or they would have been HUGE! Well lady, I have to go work on some music myself… see ya next video! Hey! Do me a favor, check out The Price, if you like it, try to do a video on it. PLEEEASSE!!!! 😂
This was great Emily! As well as a great guitarist, you're also great at journalism! Steelheart are such a great band! Glad you had fun and hope you and family are having a great weekend! Keep rocking like always!!! 😃🎤🎸
26.09 I was there, waving my hand! That concert was incredible. I was left speechless and couldn't speak at the Meet & Greet. Mili, Joe, Mike, and Kevin were great; they are true gentlemen. I will never forget this experience. ❤
TKS TKS TKS For this material, was unexpected so the surprise was even high, Steven has been for so long a giant musician. That video and photo with Miljenko are treasure
Wow I can’t believe you was at picktown palooza. I live about 45 minutes from there and we go every year but missed it this year. I was so bummed not getting to see them. So cool that you got to hang with them
*Miljenko is definitely a top notch singer. With that said, Geoff Tate of the band Queensrycle is one of the GOAT as well. Their live in Tokyo vid of the song"Take Hold of the Flame!" clearly demonstrated that!*
Milijenko is Awesome. I love the Rockstar songs, too. I used to be able to sing Stand Up until I had my heart transplant. It's 1 year this week, and I'm still not quite healed up enough to sing like that anymore. Hopefully soon, though. I improve every day
I saw them last December and was very disappointed because they only played for like 30 minutes. The show was running late and there were 4 bands that night. I hope I will be able to see them again doing a full set. Great video.
The singer in Adler's GNR actually sounds better than Axl ever has live. Looks like it was a great show. Seeing how giddy you get over this stuff does my old hair metal heart good. Keep livin' that 80's life! (minus the cocaine and Jack Daniels of course LOL)
Emily, this is off the subject, but I can't remember. Did you mention in one of your older videos that you trained in Martial Arts or that was someone else's channel I follow. Sorry if I misunderstood. Reason I asked, is because I'm a Black Belt in Jiu Jitsu. But I had to stop because of a shoulder injury from a car accident I was in. Have a wonderful day!
@MelissaEngel-j6k yes I spoke about this in my q+a i think! I did karate for about 8-10 years! I was actually about to get my black belt when covid hit and I never picked it back up! I'd love to do Jiu Jitsu in the future, it's really cool!
A year ago, I knew absolutely no one in the music business. I've worked so hard to get where I am. I absolutely love getting to do what I do, but it wasn't handed to me. I work really hard on my social media content.

I loved seeing Steven playing those GnR songs afrer all his trials and tribulations.
Great band. They deserve a much bigger success.
It seems it was a good show and that his voice is still in good condition.

Lovely vlog EMILY . really enjoyed your story, honest and true. Miljenkos voice was and is the voice of the 80s. I’m the same, not so g’n’r😀
Glad you enjoyed it!

Their loss for not bringing Emily up on stage :)
Two questions, when is the Yngwie Malmsteen video coming? And can you do “Hold On To 18” by Black ‘N Blue?
I have quite a few more concert videos coming out before the Yngwie video!
