Circular Breathing is VERY much possible on the bansuri! Just like the western concert flute. No problem whatsoever. It's not easy to learn though. It takes a long time to learn it on a basic level and an even longer time until it sounds well enough for actual use in professional music making.

Adorable. You are one of the few who has extremely skilled, knowledgeable and honest. Very polite and a good teacher without any attitude. Unfortunately now days there are many flute trainer/ teachers who does not have the quality of a good guide. They don't understand the importance of inspiration, motivation. With limited knowledge about the swar, sruti they provide training at very low price. This will never help the leaner rather confuse their attempt. If you go to them for guidance, the first readymade thing they comment is that your basic is wrong.your finger position is wrong, your blowing is incorrect immediately before listening him thoroughly. Nothing is impossible. Learners have to keep patience and it takes time. In my opinion there is a difference between music sadhna and Riaz. If follow certain readymade Riaz notation copied from others will help to some extent but it will make you a music player with many limitations. As an artist your creative and innovative quality get hampered. What is your take on this Sir.
