Awesome video and summary of the event and such a great time with the gravel community! Glad Mrs GBC could join and enjoy some e-bike strolls in the forest!
Always great content with a colorful dialog to describe the outings. Was in Mammoth a few weeks ago for the Fondo and rode UP Mountain View Trail to Minaret Vista and lemme tell ya, it was the highlight of my four days there. Started at Tamarack and hit up Lakes Trail to Eagle Express. Meandered over to MV Trail via the smooth twists leaving right out of the Village. Jumped on the Mountain trails down to town and over to Rock Trail back up to the Lakes. It was just over 30 miles but one of the best rides ever. Freaking love Mammoth!!
Excellent summary - fantastic photos - and well done to Barb! Really key to stay aware of those sandy stretches - one of those wiped me out by surprise in Aug 2923!
As always, another great video, you are the best and I really enjoyed Mrs. GBR, it’s terrific seeing her on a EMTB makes riding a blast, we will definitely be heading to Mammoth Lakes to check it out. Thanks for your great videos.
I was worried about the sand, especially since it was her first time riding dirt, but once you know what to do, she was fine. Even for those that were without, it was only a few pockets.
I thought that was you at the Beer Run. This was my second year doing the tuffer. The kitty litter sand is challenging and exhausting at times. I'm definitely doing the Beer Run next year and would love to join the shakeout ride...
I don't think I would have done the beer run had I been doing any of the other distances. That being said, it does force you a little to see where you're at altitude wise.
Thanks! 🐼
I appreciate it! I assume this isn't my Buff winnings?

LOVE these videos Zach. Your voice overs are so good
Thanks Trent. I think I'm improving my cadence...slowly...
This is awesome! Love seeing the different distance route for the event.
I might go long next year...but the short is so much fun too...
Mrs. GBC 👏👏👏
GBC Jr was unhappy to be left out...

Good thing Magneto wasn't around!

I think because of the skiing, a lot of people overlook the biking.
Awesome video...
Thanks. Could have made it an hour long!
Watching this put a smile on my face. Great job by Mrs GBC and yourself. Your video work was fantastic!

Thanks, GBC! Barb is such a star! This was a great look at the event from a different angle 🙌🥳
Aw. My main goal was that she had a great ride and everything else was gravy. And I got a lot of gravy too.
I’m watching so Amanda will release you from mammoth prison 🤣
It might take a dozen more viewings...every hour...
Are you on the Fleecer Ridge? Which casing, light? standard or endurance?
@@mellissanash7517 yes. I think I would have taken heat for anything but the endurance
@@GravelBikeCaliforniaWould have also increased the chances of flats too.
