I thought that para cord behind the tire would catch and wrap everything around the axle , but the blowing air must push it out !! Have you considered a pull behind lawn sweep , they work good and empty effortlessly, and probably dont cost to much more than what you built . Good job 😊
Get you some fiberglass and some resin and put a few coats around that corrugated signboard to make it durable or you can take a piece of schedule 40 6" PVC or corrugated black French drain pipe and make fiberglass resin adapter to fit it to your deck I've got one of those little lightweight tin lawn trailers I hook up to my old rear engine snapper sometimes May run it on one of my ferris Zturns next year You can box those Little trailers in with inch and a half schedule 80 PVC pipe and throw some cloth or a tarp over the top of it And cinch it down or you can use fine expanded metal and arch it into the trailer for the capture ... look Like you're set up gets the job done pretty good though

Yeah if you wanna pay like $500. If you just get seasonal leaves it might be worth it to just DIY it for cheap
