Some people don't understand that it takes years of consistent effort to rebuild a broken program to even moderate success. In UFs case, moderate success has already been achieved with the culture and recruiting improvements that Napier has created on campus. Last year we were the youngest team in the entire FBS. We have better recruiting now than we have had in the last 15 years. So the fans who are not satisfied with the coach after the team has made significant progress are demanding a greater outcome than the amount of time that has lapsed can allow. Similar to a patient who has experienced a heart attack yet is expecting to be able to run (and win) a marathon within the same given time period. As with everything in life, healing and growth takes time. So have some heart, and enjoy the process. Consistency is the only road to recovery, and if you're not recovering, you're probably dying.
