A friend received two of these as a gift from his employer. He gave me one. I drank from a frog pool today. I added concentrated lemonade to it to test it. It filtered the red colour out and also the taste almost. When I sucked too hard on the bottle I tasted a lot of lemonade suddenly and thought "Did I maybe suck the water to fast through the filter and could I become sick if its unfiltered? So I spat that out. The landowner by coincidence works in water management and explained to me how this works with large companies filtering water and how it needs to go 'not too fast' through the filter system. Is it possible to suck the water through the filter too fast and still get bacteria and so on inside while drinking? I do like this system! My brain just cannot comprehend this. It was a strange experience but I might want to use the NKD pod on my future outdoor camping trips.
