The last thing Crowley called Aziraphale was "you idiot" I AM NOT OKAY
i was about to say :'(
it went
aziraphale 🥹
angel >:(
crowley 🥺
crowley! 😨
idiot 🫠💀🤪🔫
I realise once more that Crowley actually calls Aziraphale "angel" whenever he addresses him directly. No matter if it's "officially" meant as a pet name, but I love it.
yes, and the one time he intended to address him directly using "Aziraphale" was when the bookshop burned down, I believe. So he only ever uses the name when incredibly stressed or not within his vicinity.
@@alsiredwood5642 exactly that. He doesn't call Aziraphale by his name if the situation isn't dire.
@@alsiredwood5642 wanted to comment the same thing, good job
@@alessiacolella82 thank you! ^^
"a sherry for lady bracknell" sounds pretty much as a name for a fanfic 😂
I think "Lady Bracknell" is a reference to a character in the play "The Importance of Being Ernest" by Oscar Wilde.
The fact that he call aziraphale “and angel I know” in front of someone who doesn’t know they are celestial beings is either a mistake in the script or Crowley’s mistake that proved to Nina he likes him
i think it slipped out! and then he realised immediately what he said, which is why his voice drops and the "i know" sounds so weird - he panics and corrects himself, but since Nina probably doesn't believe in celestial being (and certainly not that they could live in soho) she takes 'angel" as a pet name, which then fully convinces her that they are a couple or that at least they are in love but maybe too clueless (and i mean, she is right).
@@perksofbeinganna honestly, I really like your explanation; I found the voice crack quite puzzling, but I was never able to put my finger on it until now
@@perksofbeinganna I took the change in tone to mean that he is kind of forcing himself to lie that Az doesn't mean that much to him--or that as he's saying the sentence he suddenly realizes how untrue it is and how much he cares.
hahahaha... I know it has nothing to do with it, but I love the systematic questioning that Nina does to Crowley, she goes with everything... I also like how she interrupts them like Sister Mary Loquacious🤣🤣🤣
Honestly at this point “angel” is so flippant and frequent that I get butterflies when Crowley says Aziraphale. It cuts through the facade.
I love both. To me "angel" sounds like a habitual or casual term of endearment that many couples fall into, like "honey" or "dear."
@@letolethe3344 exactly. And we’re busting out of routine and habit when we use his name. Especially since the issue is falling into the habit of not really saying what we’re thinking, using a different term is a chance for the mask to slip.
"Oh, I've got the perfect man for the job!" "...Who?"
something about aziraphale calling him MR crowley got me feeling some kind of way
Im surprised by the sudden love of this short video, so I Made a supercut for S1 for yooouuu guysss!! uwu ua-cam.com/video/_l0v0B9xHUk/v-deo.htmlsi=SkHlfnmkGxXNACl4
you cutting off right before the kiss was so evil
Why does only Aziraphale call him by his first name?
Isn’t his first name Anthony? Anthony J. Crowley is the full name he uses I’m pretty sure
@@MsBluebot Yeah I did mean that only Aziraphale call him by his name and Crowley rarely call him by his name
what else would he call him? Demon? lol that would be far stranger to say in public than "Angel"
Angel has become Crowley's pet name for Aziraphale
@@bweeeeniee1131 oh %100 it has
