Another cracking video mark. I do like the filming on the channel I must admit the quality is second to none and to have 4 foxes makes the night even better. 👍

Marc
Can’t believe I got ‘ Edge of the outback’ and ‘260 RIPS’ all on the same day, what a shooters treat today turned out to be!
They must be resident, they can't have surfaced for ploughed fields - it's just the fields have brought them out. Great vid!
Yes they will certainly be foxes from the local area, the cut grass just draws them to that particular field 😉
Great vid as usual Mark, don't you just hate it when you forget something lol?
I remember arriving at one of my permissions, setting up the gear, firing two fouling shots in the 22-250, spotting the first Rabbit and when I whent to take a range reading I realised I forgot my rf.🤣🙄.
It was too far away to guess the range so I packed everything up and drove 2 and a half hours back home with nothing but a dirty barrel.
cheers,
Sean.
Ah mate 🤦🏻♂️ yes I feel your pain! Must be about time you put another video out?! Is that vw still going? I love that thing!
@@260rips Lol yes it's hanging in there.
When I took it to the mechanic he told me the motors on life support. Very low compression in each cylinder, it was running so bad that when I asked them to give It a tuneup they at first said No point, it won't make any difference.
Anyway, I took it back a few weeks later twisted their arms and finally got them to do a basic 200 buck tune.
They replaced plugs point etc and adjusted the tapetts....Surprise surprise, it's got some power now and I can actually overtake other cars.I also run it on 98octane cos these cars were designed to run on leaded petrol wish is about 97 98.
So now she's got a little grunt...but the rear CV joint makes a hell of a knocking sound. And because the rubber seals are gone in the driver's side door I have to wear my shooting muffs cos the constant high pitched whistle drives me insane .
Oh yeah I have put a couple of vids out in the past month, just the .223 removing Bunnies heads..needed some for a few friends.
cheers.
👍👍👍
Evening Mark
Cracking video.
Very little muzzle flip there for .243
Do you put this down to your mod, and if so, what sort are you running?
My .243 Howa is sat in GRS stock and whilst the rig is fantastic; flip is an issue, (loss of sight picture etc.)
I’m using a mae t12 scout mod from jms sporting which helps, the rifle is also clamped in the Rekon tripod too which will no doubt reduce movement
Great report?
I’m looking at getting a new scope for my .308 so I was wondering what were your opinion mark were on the element scope or anyone else who’s used them
I would highly recommend the element scopes. The nexus has replaced my old nxs Nightforce and I’ve not looked back, I also have a Titan on another centrefire and a helix on my rimfire 😉👍
Is it a 260?
This rifle is a rem 700 in 243 (the 260 did sneak into the last video though!)
What does 260RIPS mean????
Hi Thomas... it's just a nickname Mark uses, started on his own channel - 260RIPS. 260 for the calibre of the gun he uses the most (his own which is tuned for long range shooting), and RIPS for Ripley :)
I'm interested to see that you're allowed to use suppressors in the UK. The authorities here in Australia are much less enlightened, and prohibit them. They've seen too many sniper assassin films and don't realise the benefits to surrounding landholders.
It has to be nice having a Photographer. Allowing you to focus on the hunt. She does very good work. Thank you both for your time and efforts.
