The Tiananmen Square protests, also known as the June Fourth Incident[1] (Chinese: 六四事件; pinyin: liùsì shìjiàn) in China, were student-led demonstrations held in Tiananmen Square, Beijing during 1989. In what is known as the Tiananmen Square Massacre (Chinese: 天安门大屠杀; pinyin: Tiān'ānmén dà túshā), troops armed with assault rifles and accompanied by tanks fired at the demonstrators and those trying to block the military's advance into Tiananmen Square. The protests started on 15 April and were forcibly suppressed on 4 June when the government declared martial law and sent the People's Liberation Army to occupy parts of central Beijing. Estimates of the death toll vary from several hundred to several thousand, with thousands more wounded.[2][3][4][5][6][7] The popular national movement inspired by the Beijing protests is sometimes called the '89 Democracy Movement (Chinese: 八九民运; pinyin: Bājiǔ mínyùn) or the Tiananmen Square Incident

Pride is Arrogance, Ignorance, and then Intolerance. It's self glorification, egotistical embellishment, Pure narcissism. Manipulation. Lack of Ambiguity. It's a bias, blind loyalty of our own making. When we get insulted, shamed, humiliated, etc, the only thing that is taking damage is the PRIDE of OUR own making. It's 100% self inflicted. Where there is weakness and unintelligence, there is only the Forcible Suppression of their opposition by any means necessary

The Bible also talks about not eating pork or any type of shell fish, or sowing a field with more than one type of seed. It prohibits wearing clothes made from more than one type of material and calls for the stoning of children who speak harshly to a parent. These are all cultural laws. God gave 10 laws. Jesus summed them up by instructing Christians to love. We are all children of God who sin. Sinner is not an identity. If it is for you, then you don't have much to live up to.

I still don't get what's in this pride month for me personally? I mean, I am bisexual. Now everyone is talking about this "pride month" thing. Is this some sort of monthlong "mother's day"? Where do I get my free cookies or something? And if there's no free cookies, then what's the point? To show that you appreciate my sexuality? Well, for starters I don't care if you do or you don't. And by the way what about the other eleven months?

Those people want to demonize us, bully us, demean us, and discriminate against all because they think that they can and are entitled to. We have pride because when you are oppressed it helps to remind your oppressors that they haven't broken you. We have pride because a lot of members of the community take their own lives because they are bullied into doing so by fake religious people who have only hate in their hearts and who have no respect for human life. We have pride because some of those same people take our lives and do so with a smile on their face. We have pride because we are educated enough to know that there is NOTHING wrong with being different. We have pride because those differences are part of who we are, and we shouldn't feel shame for being who we are. We have pride because we are brave enough to be ourselves when we know very well that someone may hate us for it. We have pride because some of us endure ignorance and hate on a daily basis, and we manage to live through it. We have pride because although people are slandering us right now, we know things will get better. We have pride because we can care about LGBTQ+ youth and want them to be safe. We have pride because you cannot kill an idea, nor can you silence one. That is why we have pride.
