yeah i can't do the whole "clockwise" "counter clockwise" shit XD learning that we are effectively the shadow's head and the shadow is the tail made that so much easier
Finally my peanut understands, point shadow to viewer (me)/rotate camera and stand in cardinal so I can see boss in front of me, look at what hand boss is holding sword, if left hand, then I go to the left cardinal, if right hand, I go to the right cardinal
Nah my short circuit brain would take a while to recognize the face position as well as positioning the cleave side correctly. My trick is, I just memorize ONLY two patterns of the right cleave positioning. And go to the opposite side if it's left cleave.
It makes it quicker for the brain to process where your shadow is facing. But if you can figure that part out without turning the camera, then you can skip that step. In fact, if you can figure it out on your own, then you absolutely don't need this video guide.
I finally, FINALLY understand. Bless you, kind soul.
Oh, dear, thank you for that explanation !
thank you so much. my brain has been far too small for any other explanations and i've looked everywhere trying to understand this crap

Nice vid. Remember y'all, the boss' arm will be the shadow's arm from behind you. You wanna face the shadow's "arm" outside, always :)
omg thank you
Thank you!!!!
Their use of indication for the shadow is poor IMO. Initially, I saw the shadow as a sorta man-like figure with the round part being a head.
Damn tenkay
don't understand the point of turning the camera?
