Her dad passed away months later in December 2020 from COVID-19. 😢 💐 And now she and her husband, mother, and stepfather are gone. It doesn't seem possible. Prayers for Autumn, Jamie, Rhett, and other family members. 🙏🏼 🌿🌷🦋🕊⚘️
This interview with Amber is tremendous. Humorous, uplifting and informative. It is great to hear from the artists we so much love and are blessed by. These interviews are worth your time watching to keep up with what is going on with each artist in southern gospel music. Thanks so much! John
How articulate warm and honest is Amber. I clearly remember her a a young girl as she sang her first solo on a Gaither Homecoming Christmas video. It was shortly after her grandfather Rex Nelson has passed. I’m feeling rather old right now (truth is I am getting up there) seeing so many of the Homecoming regulars’ children grow up and become their own person. You know Matt your interviews get better and better. 🙏🏼❤️
Matthew Fouch Hi Matt, As far as Fouch and Friends go this is #1 in my opinion. On the Couch with Fouch always had very good interviews and laughter. It would be hard to name a favorite although Phil Collingsworth comes to mind. These “quarantine” shows seems to be a bring out more depth and introspection. We are after all living in a new and uncharted world so perhaps we are all thinking more deeply about our life and faith.Thank you for asking my opinion Matt.🙏🏼
I remember seeing her at Gethsemane BPtist in Louisville KY when Pastor Robert Wright was the minister. Her And Family have a very special gift from the Lord that very talented with. She's grew up to more beautiful Than ever
I think Amber is my favorite Nelon. But, I love them all but Amber is probably my favorite and she sings what I sing as far as alto, I think that's what Amber sings?? But anyways, I love these interviews and the cow names 😂
This video was in the summer of 2020. Jerry Thompson, Amber & Autumn's dad, died later that year. It was announced Dec. 2, 2020. Apparently, he had been sick.
What a precious Angel this girl is ❤❤❤❤
The best fouch interview EVER! Such a genuine and fun person. (bull gaither! :) lol)

Prayers for them all, indeed.
You can search the world over and you're not going to find better people than Kelly Jason and amber. May they rest in sweet peace in heaven
Agreed.

Yeah. I think artists are happy to show you they’re human and going through all this stuff too. It hits us all.
Greetings from India, love the Nelons
That’s great! Are there many gospel music fans in India?
@@MattFouch Oh yes!

Granddaughter of the finest bass singer!
He was great. Favorite Rex song?
@@MattFouch Hide Me Rock of Ages with JD. Clearly shows the difference between bass singers, I personally prefer Rex :D
@@MattFouch how about yours?
That’s the truth.
I will have to go back and take a really close listen to some of his stuff. Honestly, I have not listened to much of his solo songs.
Your ministry is so awesome! Keep on doing your best in ministry!
What a wonderful interview ❤.

Great interview Matt! How old is Amber? Did she say?
I’m not sure how old she is.
@@MattFouch she's 31. She was born in 1989.
Amber is a lot like her mother.
What’s your favorite Nelons song?
@@MattFouch right now, probably "Excuse me, Are you Jesus."
That’s a good song, for sure
