James SA Corey is a pen name for Daniel Abraham and Ty Franck. This might explain the weird prose you mentioned. They take turns, like Daniel is a better social-ineraction writer and Ty is a better sci-fi writer.
I didn't know that, I did a interview with Richard kadry who co-authored the Dead Take the A Train and he talked about how hard it is to make it work right with two authors it wasn't a bad book at all though
Have read James SA Corey other books. Are you excited for this one? Join us on discord discord.com/invite/ZhadG2Ua
This book is amazing! I just finished reading it yesterday and I can’t wait to read the novella and the next two books in this trilogy!
Same!!
I am planning on starting it next week! I was a fan of the expanse so I am excited to start this one
Wooh! Would love to have you on the discord!

Great review JR! I love the Expanse, and highly recommend it. I’ve heard this is supposed to be loosely connected to it.
That's interesting now I'm going to have to get to the expanse to see
I can't hear you. Is the volume ok on this video? It is REALLY LOW.
The sound is a little lower than normal not sure why I'll work on that thanks for letting me know

My only complaint (more of a worry/desire for more) is that they have set up way too big of a universe for only a trilogy lol.
Could be problem. That's why all my books are in the world (no mutiverse lol) if the world seems too big it's ok because there will be more books
Must have been wild discovering Corey is two people.
Yeah right?
They are hispanic
