Kayak Fishing - Gilthead Bream Fishing - Tips for Beginners - First Fish of the Year

Gilthead Bream (sea bream) are a great fish to fish for and catch and this year (2019), I decided to target them more. I headed out on the kayak in early May for my first trip to see if I could catch one. I used Razor Clam (razor fish) as bait and the video contains tips for beginners. I talk about the rig and the Shimano Oceanic Baitrunner reel I am using and pass on some information given to me by a very experienced Greek Gilthead Bream angler regarding the very interesting way Gilthead Bream feed, which goes a long way to help understand how to fish for them. The fish is known as Dorade in France, Tsipoúra in Greece, Orata in Italy, Dourada in Portugal, and Dorada in Spain. Whenever you go Gilthead Bream fishing Bass (Sea Bass) are usually a bi-catch as it was on this trip.
