Very clean work. I have seen other videos on the subject that are just nasty. I just bought new pads that should arrive soon. Meanwhile I have sorted the problem out with a nice program that I downloaded. I just hope the pads arrive before the current ones get too dirty.

My L485 model showing e11 error for inkpad service required even after replacing the waste ink pad.
Does the printer have a mechanism to detect that the ink pads are soaked?
And how to reset the service message?

Hi I replaced the ink pads, but the printer screen still says... "Ink pad is at the end of its service life" The message did not got away?

@@meeto7s Hi and no. I ended up buy a new epson printer, this time xp4105 model. The ink cartridges are much more expensive. :(

I took out the ink pads and put them in newspaper, and squeezed them a bit dry. That should hold for a bit.
Epson does not allow to do that by yourself. It asks for contacting service center in order to change pads there and confirm change by passing special serial number in the administrating software. How to deal with that?
I just washed the pads and put them back.

No, for Epson L365 I used app from resetkey.net, it is free for first time.

Excuse me, i have the same printer and it prints low quality colored prints and if it is in black and white it leaves some space which should have letter, also the colors mix. Can you please make a video how to solve such problem. Thank you so much and this video really helped
make sure you buy the original ink i once used to have a similar problem
GO to device & printers in control panel
right click on your printer
printing performance
maintainance
do head cleaning
do nozzle check
if still problem persists
do power ink flushing.

Thank you for your information. I have to ask...we are in lockdown shops are closed, is it possible that i can use spounge to replace an ink pads?
I would not recommend using sponge or anything else other than the ink pads. We dont know how absorbing the sponge will be and you would be potentially risking an overspill and a mess.

what can be other options, ot maybe i can continue using the machine until i get the opportunity to buy the ink pads after lockdown
@@jamesmokoena9611 Check the state of the currently installed pads. If the situation is not critical just continue printing and replace the pads when you get the chance to get them. If the situation is critical (pads soaked with ink to the point where ink could spill outside the tray) as a temporary solution you could fill the tray with cotton wool or cotton pads.

I ended up here after my printer stopped working because, and I quote:
"A printer's ink pad is at the end of its service life. Please contact Epson Support."
I've seen a bunch of videos from Indian tech support guys trying to convince me to download some shitty software but I can't emphasize enough how BAD that idea is. That's how you get and spread malware.
So my question would be: how did you reset the counter after this?

In the service they charge 35 Euro for this. Funny people. I will lose 3 times more time let alone the cost if I go there… Just changed it for less than 10 minutes
