The real travesty was when he ditched that costume for a generic-looking brown and yellow outfit that looked every bit the early 2000s it came from.
Squirrel Girl and the "Taliban Approved" Captain Marvel costume of the mid 2010s were worse. That "Zebra" costume is extremely close to the Dazzle pattern paint used on warships in WWII. The Zebra Man idea and custom design is Awesome… The creator of this character just needs to rewrite his ability and the way his powers are used.. Instead of using his ability for lifting objects” which doesn’t make any sense.. He could use his ability to blend in with the environment so that he can confuse his enemies.. Similar to what an Zebra does in the Sahara to confuse lions and predators who threaten their lives and young.. The Warrior is an Awesome idea 💡 for a Hero but not for Guy Gardener.. He needs to be his own character an hero. With a new name identity the whole works.. Ultra Man is Awesome but his power set is written wrong.. The suit needs to be toned down a little and he’ll be a perfect Avenger…
Agree with all of that. I have to say, why does any hero have a cape? It just looks silly, especially on a hero who doesn't fly through the air, and even on those it still seems silly -- think of the drag! The Vision is particularly silly -- he walks through walls and floats like a zeppelin. Why a cape? Nu?
haha they make this exact point in the movie the Incredibles they even show multiple heros being messed up just because of their cape one gets sucked into a jet engine, another gets it stuck on a rocket I think? Maybe vision does because scarlet witch thinks he looks good wearing one?
That was in Watchmen, too. Dollar Bill gets shot to death when his cape is stuck in a revolving door. Of course, it was ridiculous that the bank he was guarding would even have a revolving door in the first place. Alan Moore was making a point about capes.
Power Man wore a cool red jacket, black pants with knee high boots, shades and small twin jets on his hips for flying. Then the comic artist gave him an ugly green an yellow body suit, a huge jet rocket on his back and took away his shades which actually left him Squinting in every panel. It was Horrible.
