This really is big ....my prayer life is absolutely not where it should be ...how does one get the distractions out that come blasting in at fast paste ...there are time when I've been in prayer and litterally 15 minutes will have gone by and I realize I've been out of prayer for during that 15 minutes
It takes time, practice, and commitment. Nothing more and nothing less. To hear from God and speak with Him is something that you are born to do but it must be learned. I myself am learning to do this. I would recommend watching 'Frequency' which is a series lead by Robert Morris.
a pastor never ever shld be restricted by time to preach the Word of God, that mere time also is created by God thru the Word of God. Preaching & proclaiming the Christ must never ever be restricted anything other than by Christ Himself, therefore...
Worshipping in spirit and truth is connected to leaving your riches to be born again as you can't love God and Mammon but you don't go that deeply into it huh? Are you the rich man he talked of that would have an easier time as a camel passing thru eye of needle than you entering kingdom? Is your kingdom coming or already came and day of the Lord will remove all MAMMON FROM ALL EARTH?

Test the spirits. Their fruit, their words, weather they align with scripture, don't discard it immediately because of a sign. I make that sign on accident sometimes too. But I'm seeking the Lord and am learning from to love him more each day.
