Neuvillette finally reveals his identity as Hydro Dragon but really Aether guessed it. Kind of a low key reveal here, but you can sense his power in the the starting cutscene. This is from the New Archon Quest in update 4.1. Enjoy!

Not just a normal hydro dragon like dvalin and adhzaha. BUT A HYDRO DRAGON SOVEREIGN LIKE APEP THE DENDRO DRAGON SOVEREIGN WHO RULED TEYVAT BEFORE THE PRIMODIAL ONE DESCEND AND HUNT THEM DOWN. THEY ARE STRONGER THAN THE ARCHON.

Literally the last place anyone would think to look, and the best place to be if he ever has the chance to reclaim his power lol
I knew it. Everytime it rains it was due to Neuvilette's emotions. Since it was implied, it usually rains during a trial session and Neuvi was the one who usually presides the trials instead of Furina.
Who would have thought, our interaction with The Knave is quite.....civilized, and promising
I mean she still wants the gnosis and doesn't flinch about taking lives but she does want to protect the city from thr prophesized disaster

Seven Gnosis was the part of the power of Seven Sovereign stolen by Celestia. No wonder Neuvilette has a bad blood against all Archons (except Nahida).

Let's be honest.... Every evidence was circumstancial.... Hell mihoyo was probably thinking of putting kokomi into the hinted path but probably decided to choose a future character as the dragon instead of revisiting old content
The only piece was the rain part before the talk and that was it. What other clues did they show that he was the hydro dragon?
@@jeffali5157he didnt use a vision and he also took down childe with no efforts honestly ....which is a huge feat and harbingers are somehow close to an archons level and if neuvillette could take down childe with zero efforts ....we could easily predict that he possessed a power which rivaled the archons

His profile does not include Gnosis, but "Ancient Dragon's Authority". Meaning, Dragons do not need any external sources to wield elemental powers - it's innate in them, just like how Archons can wield their respective powers without Gnosis (in which, each Gnoses are stolen powers of those Seven Sovereigns themselves).

He's in quite of an awkward situation with Furina lol. Half his power is with her, and he could most likely easily take it back, but he doesn't. If you look at it, when the Primordial One created the Gnosis, with half the Sovereigns' powers, and gave it to the Archons, does that mean those Gnosis are, ik some ways, the Primordial One's way of having a leash over the Archons?

it took Focalors 500 years to collect enough indemnitium to both kill her and destroy the archon's throne and system
that's why the power returns to neuvillette, hydro archon is dead and there will be no more new hydro archons because the system itself has been destroyed

neuvillette is more than juvia, he's mercuphobia. the dragon ruler of water, the most benevolent among the 5 dragons of guiltina, and is okay with losing his dragon powers and living among humans.

It is implied that most of the O.G. sovereign were either K.I.A. or withered away but have since reincarnated.
So we can assume that:-
Dvalin is anemo sovereign, orabaxi was the electro sovereign who had been worshipped as a god, Apep is the o.g. sovereign who somehow got cured despite Nahida not having her gnosis with her, neuvallete is hydro and that leaves geo, cryo and Pyro dragons unknown.
Azdaha is NOT the geo dragon since only a pure elemental vishap can become a sovereign and Azdaha can use multiple elements just like the bathysmal vishaps, making him impure. Or maybe bcoz he used multiple elements did he got mad? Funny how a sovereign is able to use one element while a younger dragon is able to use 6.
Chi of guyun was said to be a dragon so could have been the geo dragon sovereign since morax couldn't kill him completely.
Depending on hints, natlan is gonna be based of Central or south America and Sneznaya is gonna be based on Russia..
I know not of any Russian folk dragon but central America worshipped flying serpents as gods... Maybe the Pyro sovereign is gonna be a dragon who can use fire as a rocket thrusters?

@@bkmaoo quite simply, every sovereign is a dragon, but not every dragon is a soverign. Only apep (nahida story quest) and nuevuillete have been confirmed as soverigns. Azahada and Dvalin are still speculated and have not been confirmed yet
@@storm_1784 Azhdaha is in all but name, from the looks of things, if that. He even gets called "overlord" and "ruler" which is just another way of saying sovereign and the wild thing is, even he refers to Morax and the people as "usurper" iirc. Which is something Neuvillette and Apep does. Dunno about Dvalin. Also, we know that Azhdaha is a dragon older than Teyvat and it's gods. Also, we know that dragons can evolve into sovereigns so Azhdaha may have started as a hatchling and through time evolved to this stage after previous incarnations past on.
