That frame at 5:27 is a moment 99% of people would never take notice of. These are the kind of moments that stop time for a few seconds and when you capture it it’s a win. Love your work bro I’m from Adelaide South Australia and now own myself a M10 thanks for sharing your views on photography and life it’s inspired me so much
Love the video. The camera it should be amazing, but what is more addicted is to see you taking photos and how you approach to people in such a simple way.
Thanks Ana, I try not to overthink it these days. It’s also best to act instinctively. Once you let doubt in, it just grows stronger ever second you don’t ask.
The track you used for this was so perfect for your stride. This is such a chill video. Great work. I’m tossing up an m10p or r...I’m trading in my M9p with the bad sensor for an upgrade. The R looks amazing here. Thanks man.
Are you seeing that M10-R Raws processed without a proper profile are pretty hot in the red channel? That’s what I was seeing. I think Leica tweaked their red filter in the RGBG array to get the color response closer to the M9’s.
Whoa! Beautiful street shots in New York. This is a real lesson in how to approach subjects on the street and make them comfortable, too. That's something I struggle with. I take it you like the camera so far. Was that all your 35mm f/2.0 Summicron? Great video!
I almost never ask to take someones pic ...i usually do candids but sometimes if I don't like the candid I ask but I never direct them .... some people hate being told what to do especially new yorkers lol .. shots came out great tho dude👌🤙
You shot with Ralph Gibson?! I have The Black Trilogy sitting on my shelf, and the photograph on the front cover is one of my favorites of all time. Looking forward to that vid.

My man's always on the grind. Gotta respect it.
Can’t stop. Wont stop.

Really nice video plus your easy style with your subjects. Love the Jpg colours nice n soft. Thanks.

I admire how easy you connect with the people you're asking for portraits man. Great video:)
I thought you would include the red fire hydrant into the frame @0:36 - I was wrong :)
It actually was in the frame but it looked so awkward I had to crop.
@@Stockezy 41MP must be nice (:
Loved the video, you are awesome!
Been looking forward to this video! thanks for the great content!
Thanks for always checking it out brother!
@@Stockezy I laughed with joy at the fire hydrant photo...that image will live on as one of those once in a lifetime raw photo moments.
The track backing this video is 🔥🔥🔥 Do you remember what it was?
Great shots too as always!
Oh man… I actually have no clue. Sorry brother!
@@Stockezy all good! Happy New Year!
Fire as always!
🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Great vid! Love the way you put your advice from the last upload to work.... enjoyed Greg’s background comments haha.
Haha I totally forgot to shout him out. 🤦🏾♂️
great video - love the street POVs
Love it man. LES is the best! How are the businesses holding out on Prince street? Cheers man
I couldn’t really say. Haven’t been out making the rounds unless I am shooting.
@@Stockezy Cheers dude. Stay safe. happy shooting
Viby that street portrait 👌🏻 Awesome ambiance that editing!
Thank you 🙌
I thoroughly enjoyed this video. Thanks for sharing :) I love how easy it looks how you ask for peoples portraits on the street too.
Thanks Kylie!

Yeah, I’ve definitely noticed that. I’m have other issues with the DNG files in capture one as well. Still trying to figure it out.
ooooo jelly about the M10-R...
Haha it’s a wonderful peace of kit.
I'm not sure you'd be able to teach someone else your way of seeing things. You have a very unique viewpoint.
I appreciate that. I imagine we all see things differently and trying to focus on that is the hard part.
Motivation right here!
Yeah, I need to get more serious with the art so I can get me a "M" series Leica. Thanks for video!
Get after it brother!
LOVE that t-shirt! Don't sweat the technique!
🙌🏾
Inspired video man. Love the portraits you made in this one. Respect.
Thanks Talya! Really appreciate the kind words. 🙏🏾
So nice straight outta camera!

Thanks for the kind words Rob! All images were shot with the 35mm Summicron!
Fire hydrant portrait 🔥
Love this and how casually you approach people for their portraits. Do you leave control iso and leave shutter speed on auto on the Leica?
I mostly shoot aperture priority when I’m shooting street photography. I bracket my ISO from 400-1600 and set my shutter to never fall below 1/500th.
Looking forward to the Ralph Gibson video. He's on my list of favorites. I always explain " point of destination" to people
He’s a legend. I’m honored to be spending time with him these days. Very inspiring and wise.
Kind of a miss not to get those red fire hydrants in the frame along with the red jacket man.

Yeah, I use to never ask but I like the idea of having a bunch of NY portraits to refer back to in 10-15 years.
@@Stockezy if I'm in another state I'll ask but in NYC!?...man you already new yorkers be buggin lol
I hope they send you the new Q2 Monochrom too! that thing looks gorgeous. I can dream ahah
Maaaaan, I was supposed to get my hands on that yesterday and shoot another POV video. Sad it didn’t happen.

It’ll be my second shoot with him and we have a few more planned. He is a wonderful teacher.
The M10-R is so nice. I'm interested to see how prints would look like on that vs the M10.
I’ll try and include that in my impressions video. 🙏🏾
You went brazy
