The 1989 is the Flash movie version hence it's gloss with gold on tyres logo, McF made the original 1989 later with the Batman which was matte with silver tyres logo. Also, you can update your 1989 with RamenToy's upgrade kit to make the canopy same.
I have this...its a Spin master level of sculpting...lot of shortcuts with details ...only good thing is that its a 2 seater... hopefully the Modoking version would be as big as this.....cool review
Always loved the Tumbler design, nice to see this one even if I am a complete ignorant about macfarlane and this line. It is not clear to me what is the scale: is this 1/18, 1/12, or what? Would you add some size comparison with other figures (maybe in a YT post) ? After getting the Cyclone armoured car for my 1/18 soldiers I was looking for some futuristic vehicle for my cosmic legions figures, like a lunar rover, a motorbike, or a ... tumbler-like vehicle (you know, crossovers ...) :D
The tumbler is actually the shortest of the live action batmobiles. Its just wide and disproportioned so itseems bigger. Watch the live action batmobile documentary they are all lined up
Hi there, I think you misunderstand my video, I mentioned that it's downsized compared to the figure, not just against the 1989 Batmobile. In general, both are downsized, not just the latter. The movie depicts the real size of both vehicles compared to Batman, and you'll notice that the McFarlane Batmobile is smaller than the actual size when using the figure as a scale reference to a real human size. Also the latter can only fit 1 figure, but the real car is supposed to sit two person. So they are both not in the right scale, and cannot be even compared as both are in different scale to each other.
@@ac-studio its the best mcfarlane can offer for now. I would say the 89' batmobile is off just a little. I have seen people customised it as a 2 seaters. As for the tumbler. I have watched batman begins BTS and someone stood next to it, the top of the tumbler is just a little above the person's waistline and I am assuming he's 6 ft tall just like Bale because I can see other shorter guys standing around it as reference. Tumbler was never a large vehicle it may look like it in the movie but Its just 15 feet long and I believe the mcfarlane is made 15 inches

That's true. I've seen the vehicle in person. I was surprised it's a way smaller vehicle than what it appears to be on screen.
it's really a beautiful tumbler can't wait to get mine and figure looks just like morgan freeman 👍🏻
Thank you for the great review i agree with you 💯 percent it looks amazing i will purchase this one before they jack up prices 🙏👍🏻
I am surprised it's costing 150 US in Australia. Is that because of the shipping, as it was 100 US retail I guess?
there is Exchange rate.. average US 1 to AUD 1.5
It is AUD 180 to 200
Its not downsized. Its in the right scale. Just google hot toys 89 batmobile and tumbler size comparison you will see.
