What size of fast did you use? I bought I thought the finished fast and I tried Balsa 3/16, I can’t seem to get any kind of wood to cut on my new cricut maker 3😢 yes I am using a knife blade and it collaborated just fine. So frustrated.
Me too. It cut decent one time on basswood 1/16 and now it keeps jacking up the cut, not cutting all the way through even if I keep recutting after the 16 original passes…ordered basswood from Cricut, hopefully it works better
Cricut Maker 3 only really cuts straight lines well. Even cutting thick cardboard... I've never had any luck with wood. It looks like it should cut wood... but I just never have any luck.
I did this once and it was very cool. Cricuts are the best!
How do you increase the pressure with the knife blade? Mine won't let me use the drop down arrow

What timber do you use?
How long would that blade last before needing to be replaced?
Maybe try decreasing the pressure and increasing the number of passes. Pain in the ass to get the hang of but when you do it’s all worth it.

does it require a different knife blade?
Im going to try this.....can the male cut acrylic? I saw some at hobby lobby and id be in LOVE if i could cut it
Mine will only cut for a little while, then gives me an error any suggestions?
Same!!! Consistently! And then the time increases from the original time and runs all night even for the smallest of projects!
Having the same problem, It won't finish all the cuts and stops with an error. How can I fix this problem?
how thick is the material?
I used Cricut basswood which is 1/16 inch. If you are buying other basswood make sure it is either 1/16 or 1/32.
@@weekend-craftI can’t find 1/32 anywhere 😢
Do you think that this machine can cut Velcro?
You've actually stumped me on this one. I've never attempted velcro.
What if I wanna cut it into four equal parts?
You would create that design in Cricut Design Space.
30 pieces layer, not made 1 bookmark as keeps splintering
Buttttttt can u cut 1inch things on there?..can the knife handle that small of a piece???
That is not wood...
my son is in the building trade. He shakes his head at me and says "dad, its lumber!"
