Why would somebody give a thumbs down surely? What exactly is your high expectations that is not met by SaskDutch Kid simply showing us how he lives HIS LIFE
Just discovered your channel a couple of days ago and have been binge watching. My father was a veterinarian and I have been on lots of Dairy farms.... yours is certainly impressive. In one video you mentioned a cow that your parents bought at "The Royal". I live about 2 hours from where it is held and go every year. Would love to see more of your family. Keep the videos coming.
Another great video from an amazing farm and a hard worker. it always amazes me how much is involved in operating a farm, their is always something that needs doing, the world needs more farms this alone would keep kids today more focused in the real world instead of playing video games all day, although gaming also have a benefit to society. but thats a different story for a different day. Thank you SaskDutch Kid, we need more just like you,
Good morning Jan! Thanks for the great video, it's always enjoyable watching your videos. That sure is a big spreader!! Take care, be safe and stay healthy buddy!
You have a beautiful farm and great videos. My family ran a dairy farm and sold it when I went to college. So now I live vicariously through your videos ❤️
i've loved your channel from the first video i watched but i really didn't know exactly how much until a few weeks of quarantine and lock down! I really want to Thank you Jan and all the other great farm channels I sub, I love you all! please stay safe!!!
Thanks again for another fine and informative video. It further illustrates the complexity of tasks and skills that go into producing that main product of milk. Exactly why we admire and are so impressed by your work and the success of your family's farm. Blessings to you all! :)
HEY JAN , putting all things aside for a second to let ya know that you and your loved ones are in many thoughts and prayers for good health and safe keeping through this virus out break. 🙏😔
Got you beat in Ontario just finished manure yesterday and started to cultivate and plant wheat peas barley etc l like your videos can hardly wait to see some 2020 field work vids
Yeah that tractor does look sick with that wide stance👍🏻....we should be spreading soon, most of our snow is gone, but still pretty wet. Locked n loaded here in Ontario Canada 🇨🇦 n praying for a bit better of year then last. Keep up the awesome work, love the vidz.
Like the vid. Suggestion; fabricate a simple rounded edge on the bracket that you are running the hoses thru. It will keep the hoses from wearing thru.
104 comments and nobody asked who this beautiful, young, lady Malene is. I've wondered for awhile where a hard-working guy like yourself meets girls -- now I know, you hire them to work with you. 😉😉
Just curious what year that MX285 is? I used to work at the plant where those are assembled. Very good chance I’ve been inside of that cab. Or worked on the transmission. Lol
Jan I was watching a DAIRY farm dumping hundreds of gallions of milk down the drain. Why I said? It was because the CARONA VIRUS shut down all the stores and no one was buying milk. Something about if the milk was not processed the milk would go bad. It was so heart wrenching I felt like crying. Good milk going to waist. I said to my self I am glad it was not your farm. You work so very hard. I need Vitimine D and drinking milk would give me the D Vitimine I need. I drink a half of glass of milk every day. It's a must 4 me. TQ Jan Aloha
Wow bet that was a job going down in that pit to work on the sump pump!😳 What brand is the grease gun? Milwaukee? Have you had any problems with it? Thanks for the great videos Jan! ✅
Farmers started spreading here in southern sweden. How do i know? The entire town could smell it yesterday since the wind was in the right direction lol. Closest field from where i live(close to the center of town) is like 2.5 miles (4km) straight shot. Nothing like going outside for a walk and expecting fresh air and instead get ur lungs filled with the smell of "freshly chopped" manure xD. Guess you get used to the smell living on a farm.
Hey DK love the drone footage what no sugar in your coffee😖 is there anything you don't know how to do🤔 so what's next DK keep up the good work and see you in the next video 🐄🍼🍦🍨😋😉
Hi dude, very nice to see you doing a very wonderful job, well all the appreciation made is very less for your efforts made simultaneously while performing your daily job, anyway can you please make a video on the commercial side of a dairy... Like life of cow, lactation period, milk out put everyday of individuals, total milking life, feed input, your total staff, one and all machinery used in farms, size of your barn, no's of cows in lactation, size of land used for growing feed, types of crops, ratio of mixture of crop for feed.... Thanks, we will be waiting for your reply.... See ya
I just got my bucket bottle calf project if i lived around you i would love to buy a steer from you but I live in Iowa. I decided to go with a jersey Angus cross otherwise i get a holstein
Looks like your pto guard needs some repair. I know two guys who got wrapped around an exposed pto shaft when their clothing caught on the shaft. One guy did not survive the other was crippled up for the rest of his life
Thanks for keeping the videos going. Farm live doesn’t and can’t stop!!!! First time I have seen ya with hat on right haha. BTW what kind of work pants do you use?
that grease gun has an air bleed button on the front. No need to "shove" the grease in with the piston. Just release the piston and hit the air bleed button.
The production value on your videos is impressive. Good equipment, good editing.
Thank you!!

Vegans
Pennywise milk is a natural product vegans still use margarine which is man made
There will always be a certain percentage of people who are just negative, sour apples.

Coffee milk is what I started out drinking too, 50 years ago!!! lol
that was milk with a dash of coffee haha
now I know why they milk so many cows, to keep the coffee drinkers happy.

Our neighbours have 2 bunning manure wagons sometimes they use them for silage, great 👍 video!
Yeah I guess you can take the beaters off the back and use it like that!
Looking forward to getting out into the field 👍👍👍👍
Smart idea to label slow milkers. Love the Milwaukee grease gun
I’m self quarantine, your vids are an awesome treat and very informative!!
Keep up the great work! Your an awesome person :)
Have any cows adopted you? Tdf honest farming has one lady who always stops the egress from the milking parlor until she has been petted by Derrick
Great drone footage. See how much land, crops, water, work it takes to make milk!
Loved it when he said, “c’mon girls, let’s go!”
What a hard cool fun job!!! 🙄😀😀😀😀😀😀
What happened to the PTO guard? Hoses or person get caught Not a pretty sight . Safety First

Love your passion for farming! What time do you usually start/finish your day? 💛
Love the video Jan. Keep on keeping on!
You drink your coffee just like me. Lots of cream or whole milk. YUMMY!!
I think a lapel Mike would help, especially around running equip.
Hey Jan, you're in need of some new Dunlop Thermo+ wellies. Both have a tear in the shaft ;)
Love that Dutch Coffee too! 🤓
Show love to your cows too Awesome work kid. 👍🐄
Please do a video of what you do when you are not working. Thanks!
Just curious what year that MX285 is? I used to work at the plant where those are assembled. Very good chance I’ve been inside of that cab. Or worked on the transmission. Lol
Always love your videos. Lots of hard work. How many lacerations are the cows good for? Do you raise all your own replacements?

Lol with that title you really know how to draw the ladies in to watch.... spring manure hauling. And yet.... I’m watching.
Somebody missed a few spots on the spreader when it was washed last fall. Or someone took it out for a final "spin."
Wasn't too impressed with the floor of the tractor cab either.

Our beef calves at my stable aren’t as needy as dairy. We feed them and give them meds when they’re sick. Otherwise we get a new every month.
excellent video...keep it up
You seem to do every job on the farm. What is your position or title?

That's a big hole in the floor! You never know how deep it is or what could be hiding in there. Sheep are even weirder about anything on the floor.

What makes a cow a slow milker? What does that mean? Why is her bones sticking out?

Wonderful content! 😄
Looks like your tractor and manure spreader needs a clean
