Fantastic Baby was played in Glee, used in Pitch Perfect 3's trailer, played at 2018 Winter Olympics, used in some K-dramas. This might be their most used song along with Bang Bang Bang
this song was everywhere around the time it was released in 2012 and even years after, including in the US. The Album, Alive was the first korean album that ever entered Billboard 200. No wonder if you think that you've heard it before. You guys have to watch their live stages, they have this magnificent stage presence and aura on stage.

How have you not seen this b4? THIS was my first kpop mv ever, not knowing it was a thing. I assumed kpop was bubblegum pop/kitschy and a joke, well fantastic baby showed me I was totally wrong. This went so damn hard!!! I didn't know how to process 🤯😂. It's been a strong journey so far and grats to big bang for being the reason for getting me to open my mind about this genre.

There are a lot of hidden meanings in this MV. It was released after a series of “scandals” that people thought would cause Bigbang to disband. The war aspect is about antis trying to stop them from making music while their fans (VIPs) defend them. GD’s part shows him injured but still on his throne. TOP was about how he had been acting in movies and people thought he wouldn’t go back to making music. Taeyang’s showed him frozen or meditating since he didn’t have a “scandal” at the time. Daesung’s was about a terrible car accident that many people were convinced he was guilty of causing even though he was acquitted. Seungri’s was about a “sex scandal” in Japan where a girl took him home then took pictures of him sleeping and went to a tabloid with a story. The white masked people are the fans.

I think this song was also in a Kia car commercial lol
the only kings of kpop, its mainly thanks to them what kpop has become now, most kpop groups of the later generations got inspired by them. they were the first in many things in kpop and the only ones in certain things that still no other kpop group achieved.
hope you will react more to them, especially their life performances, thats one of the reasons why they are the kings of kpop, their stage presence is still unsurpassed.

GDRAGON, THE IDOL OF IDOLS
This was the first male group video I ever saw in late 2013 and was one of the reasons I stayed away from the male side of KPOP until late 2015. I did the same thing with BTS when I saw We Are Bulletproof. I didn't like the styling, hair, and makeup. It seems like they were trying to hard. Getting Spotify in 2017 helped me broaden my horizons, but most of the male songs that I like are solos.
