Hello weird side of UA-cam. It's good to see you again.
Welcome! Yeah, to a first time viewer, I suppose Vocaloid is weird. First time I saw a Vocaloid I was initially like WTF? Then I saw the live concerts, and got to know some really nice folks. Despite not knowing a word of Japanese, I was hooked! Vocaloid may have come a long way in the past few years, with now having V4 out (Luka) but it is still in it's infancy. Given some time, there will be Vocaloids that sound completely human. (Possibly to the dismay of a niche following) So pull up a chair, have a look around, and don't be afraid to ask questions. For the most part, Vocaloid fans are kind & helpful. I hope to have greeted a new fan.

If we're talking about PowerFX please do not forget my girl Ruby because she is ignored so often and she's one of my favourites. Her voice is amazing.
Pretty impressive. Western vocaloids (except a couple romance languages) are tricky because of the amount of syllable variation/inconsistency/ambiguity and it actually sounds pretty close to the source material, all things considered. Even Japanese Miku sounds decent at the end for spouting English dialogue.
Err, that's Miku V3 English. All of these are English banks.
Actually I think the Japanese have a better way of making the English sounds for English voice banks by combining different phonetics, Miku's voice bank is a lot better than the early English Vocaloids like Sweet Ann. The phenoms seem to mix better.

The entire thing was really well put together, especially since a lot of them can be really hard to work with (namely the Japanese to english ones like KAITO, I'm guessing), so, fantastic job!

Alva Nayu Well actually, I thought that the Japanese ones sounded more American than the ACTUAL English vocaloids, except for Miku. All of the English ones sounded like they had super heavy European (French/Russian/German etc.) accents.

I like how the song jumped from emotional to funny (Ha! Kaito and the fangirls!), to badass guitar solo, to emotional again. You did a really good job on the video. Kaito and Miku append kinda made me think of time travelers in this video, and towards the end, it was like Miku had tried to go back in time to save them from the explosion, but when she couldn't save them, she gave up hope. At least that's how I saw it. A good music video tells a good story, or in this case a lot of stories.
