Well.... I've put up a humorous response to your "hero of the Soviet Union" remark, twice now, and twice now, the morons at youtube have deleted it. I guess they don't like the term, "Political Officer".
I heartily agree with Nictmere. Were there times you toggled the 37mm "Melon Baller" off and just went with guns on deflection shots? I wasn't sure if you were trying to extinguish the fuel tank fire or just waiting for starboard tank to empty. Either way, gutsy move. But over such bad terrain a decision to keep flying was well justified. Thanks for a good flight!
Yes, the main trigger on my joystick is a 2 step trigger. Pull it to the first step and it fires guns, pull it to the second step and it fires guns and cannons together. I actually was trying to extinguish the fire, and it worked, for the most part. It would flare up once in a while, but it mostly went out. Thanks for watching.
The no fuel at the end hit on the 109 was epic not a bad ditch at the end. Very entertaining video Tom you should be a hero of the Soviet Union.

@@tomhighway1952 Yes I too have felt the effects of the YT overloard. Unfortunate, but game on...!
