Meditation is HUGE!!!
I haven't traded for 12+ months, after becoming a dad, things at home became very stressful and time-consuming which led to a drop in meditation then my trading went to hell, lost my funded accounts and went down a dark hole.
Planning a come back in 2024

listening to this guy, it felt like im doing everything that he is doing when he was just starting, meditation on early morning, practicing gratification, using hardship and obstacles as bridge for learning and to elevate myself and lastly, willpower to never quit. I always visualize my backtest and my live trading, the process on how to win.. It is reassuring that someone is sucessful with the things that I'm doing and bodybuilding has helped me to be disciplined which i applied in trading

Rock bottom is a scary place but also the best place to reset and go again. Im glad this guy came out of it and im sure he will find success in this game. My favourite comment is about "just showing up every day". So many parallels with bodybuilding: incremental improvements, stick to the process even though improvements might not be visible. The discipline and mindset that are necessary for body building are just as relevant to trading success.

A lot of Traders we don't admit that it's psychology affecting us Trading wise, but usually it's 99% cause of our failure rate in Trading. We jump strategy to strategy beacuse we feel like there's a holy grail out there. The psychology of a Swing Trader is very Different to that of a Scalper.
So as much as much as we might think it's a strategy that's not working, look around within if you are equipped to handle the emotions that comes with each strategy.

ive been trading for 12 months now and have been struggling to find the style i wish to trade. after listening to this podcast i started looking into m7 and theres something about the DR/IDR that just clicked right away applying it to the things ive already learned in my first year and i now feel like i have a model to go forward with. ive only forwarded tested 20 trades 60% win rate with 14.5R return. i really like the risk management how to place the stops and the 2 trade rule prevents over trading. looking forward to taking this into 2024 thank you for this podcast. absolute gold

Over trading is bad. I once reach 0.2% to get funded but failed. I also have 11% profit on a funded account but failed to withdraw and failed the account. Since then I learn a valuable lesson.
Do not limit yourself. You are always in a position to change and get better. The jouney will not be easy but it will be worth it. You've got to want it.
