  • Hello! I just bought the Wahl+ Bravmini and trying it out for the first time on this Toy Poodle and wanted to share my experience with you! I really like it. Its lightweight, small and quiet. I found out that it's a #30 blade. Excellent for small tiny dogs such has poodles faces, feet and tail base. Excellent for clipping the eye corners on tiny dogs or dogs that are afraid of the clippers.
It can be used cordless or corded. It comes with an adjustable comb attachment.

I actually just recently got this and used them once. Very helpful if you just need to keep pads or sanitary trimmed nicely on a small dog. I even used the snap on comb to sort of blend a little, but you'll have to skim or you'll cut way too much.

Thanks for this review! I have the Bravura and seeing the BravMini in use has convinced me to order it, too.

Thankyou! I have this clipper and it’s way too short! It looks like a surgical clip. I am afraid to use it!

Oh he is such a cutie! I have both the Bravura and mini in purple and they are really great for me as I am a diy groomer for my tiny toy poodle. So much better than the Andis clippers in my opinion.

Are you able to use the Regular Bravura for the body hair, and the bravmini for face and feet/paws?

Karla( new sub) my Tiny Toy is the same color, just a deeper red. I have a cheaper brand of clipper set that’s made for tiny dogs and I love it. Just trying to learn how to groom. I’m going to check those out for my Phoebe. Thank you for sharing.

What a perfectly timed video. I just bought this clipper for my toy poodle. I haven’t had a chance to try it out yet, but can’t wait! Also, I think the listing on Amazon said it came with a 30 blade.

Will that clipper cut their skin easily? I always worry about that. Great video! Ggoing to follow you! Since the Pandemic, I've been trying to learn how to trim the hair of my small Malchi. I do his body just fine but his legs, face and pads always look botched after. LOL I'll get better with time and practice. Going to purchase this trimmer.

30 blade is too much to my dog. Are there other blades for example 10 or 15 for this machine??

I use the Whal Mini Arco. It's very similar to your BravMini. The problem with the Arco is that the casing cracks after about 3 or 4 months of use. As soon as it cracks off the blade won't stay on. I've gone through many casings. Does your Wahl BravMini have a stronger casing that won't crack off? Is it made of stronger plastic or metal?

Hello! The blade size on the Mini Bravuras is a 30 fine blade. Love them!!

When does that led bulb turn on? I tried charging it and the led never turns on. Isn't it supposed to be a battery indicator?

Are there any mini clippers like this size that use a 10 blade, that can be used for a sanitary trim?

I'm pretty sure the mini is a 30 blade. That's what April my teacher told me.
We just used the Bruvera reg size on the tiny dogs.

Isn't 30 too close to use on sani trim or underarms?

Does anyone have a recommendation for a CORDED pair of little *trimmers?*
I had pair of cordless Wahl clippers but after around 2 years (at 4 shavings a year on my 50-lb goldendoodle, so 8-10 shavings), they wouldn't hold a charge anymore. With how expensive they were, I'd say they were NOT worth the price, highly disappointed. I bought an Andis UltraEdge clipper recently (corded) and am happy with it so far (2 shavings into it).
ANYWAY, I've gone back and forth with using the clippers or scissors when trimming the fur between his pads and just can't settle on which is easier, so I thought maybe a little pair of TRIMMERS like the ones in this video would make a difference (although he's 45-50 lbs, his paws are surprisingly small! Skinny legs ending in petite little paws with big nails . . . odd combo), but with my unimpressed experience with the cordless Wahl clippers, I'm partial to corded stuff now.

Why don’t they make these with a 10 or 15 blade? A 30 blade is too close for my white toy poodles.

Try the larger clipper. I use it on feet, face, tail base and groin everyday. Here is a link from my Amazon Store
