Since a gun is used, theres the entirety of gun progression: Progression for Gun users: Get a bronze sword and wanderer armor, beat thief king for all drops, go to bear island and kill bears for both of the drops. After that, progress as normal until mountain, where you can kill Pop Off Pirate for Flintlock. Now, either get Six Shooter or blunderbuss. If you get six shooter, skip the next step. If you pick Blunderbuss, get Air Gun or Cannon. With any gun you have at this point apart from your starting 2, get sundowners. This is optional for people with Six Shooter or Cannon. After you have Six Shooter, Cannon, or Sundowners, unlock Old Fart and kill him for Sporeshot. (Optional) Now go to the catacombs and use Six Shooter, Sundowners, Cannon, or Sporeshot to clear out the catacombs and get noxious mortar, finishing your gun progression. After this, you can use your best weapons to complete the bestiary and finish the game.
