At 5:12 the wheel seems to wobble - was that from not torquing the center bolt yet, or it the hub, or is there play elsewhere? Interested in this hub or a short hub+spacer that matches stock rim-to-stalk measurement (~2"). Great video - thanks for helping us keep these S2000s fun and relevant (while ND2s dominate STR class).
What wobble? The car is off so no power steering on. This hub is stock position. We have them in stock now. balladesports.com/products/copy-of-ballade-sports-aluminum-steering-wheel-hub?_pos=4&_sid=19032c2f2&_ss=r
@@BalladeSports Nice. When you state that hub is stock position, does that mean the hub places the Momo Monte Carlo wheel rim (40mm dish IIRC) in same position as the stock rim (roughly 3.6" from clockspring surface's plane)? Around 5:11 to 5:12 it was hard to tell if the steering wheel rocked fore/aft slightly, so thanks for confirming there's no play. Very compelling product and super-helpful video.
My Momo hub only came with a male connector for the srs light fix. Where did you find the connector for the srs light !? Any information would be appreciated.
We sell the SRS fix with our hub adapter. Momo is not really set up for S2k. They just reused the EK spline and box it for s2k. balladesports.com/products/copy-of-ballade-sports-aluminum-steering-wheel-hub?_pos=2&_sid=261003f6d&_ss=r
@@BalladeSports you guys don’t sell just the resistor ? I’ve seen some people just stick the male side resistor into the back of the plug but I wanted a cleaner fit.
Thank you so much for this clear explanation! Watched so many before this that didn’t explain it well. Took me 5mins once I got it. Cheers!
I just got this wheel from you guys but i went with a works hub and works quick release. It's a great upgrade.

I want to buy the ring for the hub/horn button. Do you guys sell that piece?
Have a question...Could the bolt be too tight and cause the steering wheel to feel tight as well?
Check your power steering system if you have one
Is your montecarlo size 350mm? I just bought mine and it's 340mm

Does the resistor for the srs comes with the hub?
Hello, yes when purchasing a Ballade Sports Steering wheel hub, it comes with a resistor for AP1/2 00-05 and /or AP2 06-09 dual resistors.
Don't like the way you put the tools ON the car...... sorry ...not my way....
Good thing for me, Its my car. To each his own.
