I love all this cool background story Vegeta and the Saiyans have, I wish they'd made a prequel to DB showing Vegetas upbringing and explaining the origin of the Saiyans
It’s not epic enough. He’s not bad ass enough in this series to really show a character arch. They shoved all of it into the newer dragon ballz. Don’t get me wrong Vegeta my favorite character but he just a punching bag and second stringman on the show
I swear UA-cam’s spying on me.. the last week it was showing DBGT clips as I finished that series.. I just watched this very episode 5 hours ago, and now it’s playing clips on YT.
In retrospect, a Vegeta who couldn’t sense power levels at the time, would he be scared of Beerus today? Like it’s not like he’s doing anything Frieza couldn’t do. I’m sure he’d be aware that Frieza was weaker than Beerus, sure. But what would make Vegeta think right away that he hasn’t surpassed this guy by now? At least when he first got the information anyway.
