    Didn't Charlie Munger and Warren Buffett invent the strategy of buying/investing when the market is low and also buying/investing when the market is high? As Warren Buffet said, he has seen this happen many times in his life. Not an investor. My husband and i never earned more than a middle class salary. We plan to get retired at 58 with a stock portfolio worth $4M. We have never sold so much as one share of stock...

      It really isn’t about how much you save, it’s about how you manage your money. Whether you work to earn income or invest, it still boils down to income vs expenses, so yeah you may look into financial advisors for a strategy that suits your timing...

      Even with the right technique and assets some investors would still make more than others, as an investor, you should’ve known that by now, nothing beats experience and that’s final, personally I had to reach out to a stock expert for guidance which is how I was able to grow my account close to a million, withdraw my profit right before the correction and now I’m buying again.

    Nobody can become financially successful overnight. They put in background work but we tend to see the finished part. Fear is a dangerous component, hindering us from taking bold steps we need in other to reach our goals. you have to contend with inflation, recession, decisions from the Feds and all. I was able to increase my portfolio by $289k in months. You have to seek for help in the right places.

    As an enthusiastic investor, I often consider the strategies and pathways that enable successful investors to accumulate wealth in the millions. While I have a substantial initial capital, I am unsure about the specific tactics or avenues that would enable me to achieve gains surpassing $400k, akin to those achieved by several others recently.

    Like Warren Buffet said, dividends are only good if the business you're investing into can't make good use of that capital. So, if you're trying to invest in businesses with actual growth, looking at dividends is a waste of time. Why are you investing into a company if they're returning capital to you because they think you can make better use if it than they can. It's not much different from bond investing. The way I see it, if you have a $1 million at some point, that'd be enough to create a portfolio that would pay you between 50k - 70k in dividend income.

    Building wealth involves developing good habits like regularly putting money away in intervals for solid investments. Financial management is a crucial topic that most tend to shy away from, and ends up haunting them in the near future. Putting our time and effort in activities and investments that will yield a profitable return in the future is what we should be aiming for. Success depends on the actions or steps you take to achieve it. "You're not going to remember those expensive shoes you bought ten years ago, but you will remember every single morning when you look at your bank account that extra 0 in there. I promise, that's going to be way more fun to look at everyday", I pray that anyone who reads this will be successful in life

I really saw the potential of the stock market by reading Berkshire's annual letters. I recently sold my $674k apartment in the Bel Air area and I'm hoping to throw it into the stock market. Most newbies either do not understand the power of compound interest, or are just impatient. For the average Joe, however, I think it is just best to invest in the S&P 500, and just wait, which is reliable, albeit extremely long-- lots of years. Or just use a professional analyst and speed up wealth creation. Most people underestimate the power of the latter.

God will REPAY each person according to what they have done. To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, He will give eternal life. But for those who are SELF-SEEKING and who REJECT THE TRUTH and FOLLOW EVIL, there will be WRATH and ANGER. There will be TROUBLE and DISTRESS for every human being who does EVIL: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile; but glory, honor and peace for everyone who does good: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. (ROMANS 2:5-10)
    "If we say that we have NO sin, we DECEIVE ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is FAITHFUL and JUST to FORGIVE us our sins and to CLEANSE us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 8-9)
    "If you openly declare that JESUS is Lord and BELIEVE in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be SAVED*. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with GOD, and it is by openly declaring your FAITH that you are saved. As the Scriptures tell us, “Anyone who TRUSTS in Him will never be disgraced.” (Romans 10:9-11)

      @AbhishekMithunWanders Рік тому

      @@graywalker5444 “little time” is subjective. If 5 years is little time for me, for some it’s 15 years.
      Coming to the ‘how’ part, it’s upto which path you want to take and there’s no dearth for them in this day and age.
      I see investing as a way to ‘multiply’ money. Not to ‘make’ ‘money.
      In past 2 years, i have nearly tripled my income. Since I’ve set out the percentages to save, more I increase my income, more the percentage weight and more the *multiplication*
      Ofcourse compounding is great. But even adding 1 zero to your annual figures pushes compounding in our favour.
      Remember buffet made 90+% of his wealth when he got past 90. Even if you speak of ‘not a lot of money’, the proportions would still hold true.

    It is important for beginners in trading and investing to understand that success in these fields requires more than just technical analysis. Emotional maturity and self-discipline are equally important, as they enable traders to make rational decisions even during periods of market volatility. This means that consistently investing over a long period of time is generally more effective than trying to time the market by buying and selling based on short-term market fluctuations. Learning is crucial for success in trading and investing. Keeping up with current trends and strategies can help traders stay ahead of the curve and make informed decisions. I'm glad to hear that Gregory Thomas Patchak insights and strategies have been helpful to most of us. Remember, success in trading and investing takes time and effort, but with dedication and discipline, it is achievable.

    Like Warren Buffet said, dividends are only good if the business you’re investing into can’t make good use of that capital. So if you’re trying to invest into businesses with actual growth, looking at dividends is a waste of time. Why are you investing into a company if they’re returning capital to you because they think you can make better use of it than they can. It’s not much different from bond investing. The way I see it if you have a million at some point, that’d be enough to create a portfolio that would pay you between 50k-70k in dividend income.
