It's not LEGO but still fun. Build and Review of TheBlockZone/RASTAR/ Red Bull RB19 F1 set

- OK it's not LEGO, but i really liked the first set I purchased from TheBlockZone and I'm a big Formula 1 fan. After Max won 19 of the 22 grand prix this year i could pass by building the RB19.
As i've said before i am a LEGO fan I would love for LEGO to create more F1 sets, whether they are Speed Champions sets or larger. I am really looking forward to seeing the McLaren Senna Icons set in March 2024.
This set is slightly larger (1:24 scale) compared to the smaller Speed Champions sets (6 wide and 8 wide versions are ±1:30 scale), so there is more space for additional details and 30mm slick tyres are certainly a nice touch.
The manufacturer is RASTAR so different from the brand selling the set. I don't know what the relationship is between the two.
There was one issue during the build which meant i had to swap out a piece for Lego but otherwise the quality is ok, the design is excellent and overall experience was good, lots of stickers but hey its a F1 car with lots of branding so its either printed pieces or stickers..

Yeah love this scale, great details and still affordable and you can always find a place to display it. It also inspired me to design the Ferrari and hope to release the Mercedes soon

Yeah that would be great. Rebrickable is perhaps the best option

nice looking set, great it has some printed pieces. only sticker i do not like is the red Bull behind the camera's. they look a bit to small and to thick.

If you're interested in the printed tires, check out the CaDa Mercedes AMG One (maybe you've seen it). 1/8 scale fully licensed from AMG Mercedes and licensed with Michelin including printed tires. It looks phenominal!

I was pretty happy with it actually. the tyres are amazing pity Lego doesn't make this sort of set.
block zone is awesome i got an f1 car from them a few months ago
Yeah both the 24th scale ones are nice, hopefully they develop some more
not lego or lego , i don't care , i need a RB in my collection , also the ships aren't to bad looking as well on that block zone site , thinking of buying the POTC black pearl they have

I am making a couple of MOCs based on the same scale, Ferrari turned out ok and now working on a Mercedes. Same parts needed and unfortunately the tyres might be an issue but will make a build video with parts list once ready

No they make their own version along with some pieces that aren’t available from Lego
