    Nice review !! Yep, I believe the biggest improvment is the colored token ! (While in other routines you'd need someone to confirm bla bla bla here you can be alone on stage!!) i've been performing stuff like that for years but I will FOR SURE pick up Jon's version as soon as I get back on stage ! (Can't wait to read the additional ideas as well !!)

    Cheers Nique, this one ticks all the boxes and it's going straight in to my bag as my new opener. Take care.

    That was really a great review! May we assume that your back-up contingency for your first, larger show was that your first selected spectator left to go to the bathroom or wasn't there when it was time to perform the trick, so you had to use a second, back-up spectator? Also, you alluded to using the chosen spectator in a subsequent trick involving pre-show. But that spectator could actually be used for just about any follow-up trick requiring a spectator. However, please consider doing a follow-up trick that makes it obvious to the audience that your chosen spectator assistant is NOT a stooge. Pre-show routines might not be the best for that. And routines that fall into the category I mentioned are very few and far between. (You might consider using the spectator more as a prop, having her do whatever OTHER audience members decide that she should do, wear, move, etc., so that it doesn't involve choices that SHE makes.) Hope this is clear.

    Hello Nique, It happened to me that in the "process" the person in question sat down when he has to be still standing. Was that the reason that you had to make a "way out"?

    • @niquetan
      @niquetan  2 роки тому

      Yes; and if I perform this again, I am prepared for that.

    Thank you for the review Nique. Like the look of this one. Can see lots of settings where this could be used - corporate, weddings, kids parties, educational settings and so on. You did mention at 9.20 into your review that when you performed this for the first time/show you had to use a contingency/out/back up to finish the effect/routine because things didn't quite go to plan. Is this something that is covered by Jon Allen in the teaching materials?

    • @niquetan
      @niquetan  2 роки тому +1

      Hey man; no it’s not covered in the teaching material. It’s something that I put together myself and I do recommend everyone try to do so. It’s a great routine (in fact I’m on my way out to a gig to do it, haha) but people not cooperating will happen sooner or later and you do need to be prepared so you can bring it to a logical close.

    Hi Nique, just curious if Ubelievalope would work for the prediction for Down To One or is it to small. I bought Unbelievalope on your recommendation. Really love it

      @@niquetan Could you explain more, I guess Im missing something

    • @niquetan
      @niquetan  Рік тому

      @@shomemagic couple of reasons, but for one, there isn’t a need for the capabilities of the Unbelievalope in this situation. Assuming the use of the original Unbelievalope, I’d much rather have the, shall we say, “options” available in one location already.
      They’d also be able to be larger which would play better as a stage piece as it’s an opener and you wouldn’t have anyone on stage at that point to verify what you’re reading from a small piece of paper from the Unbelievalope.

    Hi Nique. I am thinking of using this is my training sessions. One, question. Is the coin gimmicked? Or is a simple sleight of hand used? Need to know this before I make the purchase. Thanks.
