      @@tonyrainbolt9388 That's probably one of the things they just tell her to have ahead of time. The producers have to set stuff up so that the trick goes smoothly. It'd be kind of awkward if the volunteer couldn't do the thing, or was uncomfortable with it, etc. They don't tell the whole thing but probably just part of it.

    You can tell how great a magician's performance is by how disappointed the crowd sounds if Penn busts the magician.

      @SethiozProject 3 місяці тому

      nope, audience just likes silly jokes, that's why they are disappointed, but even tho P&T do some comedy themselves, it's still a magic show and not comedy. you need more than comedy to fool them. maybe in got talent show they'd go for it, but nope, not here.

    • @clintonwilcox4690
      @clintonwilcox4690 3 місяці тому

      @@SethiozProject No, you're wrong. The audience has groaned before when Penn busts a magician that hasn't been doing comedy. But magicians are performers, which means the whole package is what audiences find enjoyable. Either way, the magician did a good job, despite what some random person on UA-cam who apparently gets his jollies by disagreeing with strangers on the internet says.

      To be fair, he's right. It was a fun act but the quality of magic seemed quite low, at least in terms of whether it would fool P&T. Personally, I've no idea how he did ot, but figured P&T surely would. That being said, I've been watching loads of Fool Us clips recently, and this is the first I've seen that didn't fool them. So maybe I'm judging by unfair standards.

    Very entertaining - the intro with her (HIS!) phone number was great. Also - like others have stated it is so Classy and kind that Penn & Teller allow the performer to post their segment on YT themselves.

    Good LORD that's a good one! I'm responding before Penn even talks, so I don't know if you fooled P&T, but you fooled ME! That can't have been easy, however it was done. Unless, as I suspect, it is done with real magic. some kind of Star-Trek-Like transporter. It would be one thing if it were up a sleeve, or you stole and ditched it into a coat pocket or something, but taped to your back! This was my face --> (ʘ_ʘ) Truly amazing!

  • @szolanek
    @szolanek 3 місяці тому +4

    Well. The only "move" I could detect is the way the jacket was removed. Awesome technology was built in, but actually the slight of hand was great. For one slight of hand there is no trophy. How the mechanism actually worked, they didn't know, but who cares? Penn gave you the compliment for not making extra moves.
    Well, magic is a tricky business. Here we missed the anticipation part. Nobody knew what's going to happen and nobody cared. Good tricks are made for the 5 years old mind, catching their attention.
    Keep trying!

His fake phone call to you was bizarrely aggressive for no reason

    I know how the trick is done, only in the most general sense. Not enough specific detail to say you didn't fool me. The wallet taped to your back adds an extra layer of difficulty and confusion, which is what fooled me.
