You can also type @initiator in the npc, and it will run the command for the person who pressed the button instead of @p, because their could be someone closer to the npc when you have them spread out like this. 😄

I need some advice/help, after I created my two npc’s and tagged them and did the dialogue open thingy with the buttons, it didn’t work after I did my 3rd. @@chaseplayzkmc No, I play on PS5 but sometimes there is lag in other worlds/servers but in the world I am using it’s not too laggy. I don’t remember any lag happening. Sometimes the PlayStation can be laggy itself & crash so maybe that’s the reason but I’m not too sure.
Hm. Try changing the tag of the NPCs to different things, it may work. I do think there have been bugs with the dialogue command for a good while so it may be that too

Oh I may know why, when having one NPC do the dialogue command on another they need tags to differ. Make sure the third NPC has a different tag (eg. tag=A, tag=B, tag=C)

C means count.
So that you don't accidentally tag every npc as K
Thanks! This helps me a lot!
If you don't want anyone to see the other NPC then you can just dig 3 down under the NPC and place a grass block there.

For some reason, when the command shown at 1:28 is activated, the NPC's hands are shown separated. Is there any way to stop that from occurring?
I have never experienced that, it must be a new bug.

You don’t need commands to interact with an NPC but this command allows for you to do so from anywhere in a world
When you tag the NPC that you want you should be a close as possible to it since the command that tags it only tags the closest NPC.

How to set the (/dialogue command) in an item??🤔
What do you mean?
@@chaseplayzkmc i think he meant something gui will appear when you used that one item like the Compass in the online servers
Oh, then it would need to /testfor @e[name=“item name”] then make that command block set off the dialogue commands block via a comparator.

You can do different tags, yes. It doesn’t have to be the same exact tag I have shown, it could be anything really
