One thing I forgot to show is that the tail can swivel open to allow cargo to be loaded from the rear. There's no extra space, just two access points for the same rear compartment.
Can you make an Luther one with that
HOW MUCH WAS THE SET
That's what I was gonna say! (I saw the Commercial)
JANGBRiCKS com
Aww I wanted to see that
I got this for Christmas and I love it, it's a fine build and fun to play with, the back of the plane also hinges and you can get easier access
I came back 6 years later and didn't notice a difference until I looked at the publish date, Jangs voice literally never changes and I love it
I love that Lego has its own company for its sets, if you don't know what I'm referring to I'm referring to octan
The middle can be used as a passenger area, so it's not only a cargo plane, but a passenger and cargo plane.
I have it. It’s amazing totally worth the price I built an cargo A320 out of it it’s amazing.
Everything I didn't like, yes. Things I like, I talk about. Things I don't like, I talk about. That's what an honest review is about.
I feel soo bad, I had this when I was younger and I broke it without thinking
Originist -Gaming- i broke every set i had when i was a child
Originist -Gaming- hi
Originist -Gaming- same bro I still have the top cockpit piece with stickers 😔
I had 3 LEGO planes
The blue jet (discontinued)
Red airliner (discontinued)
Yellow water plane (discontinued)
I used them for parts I feel so dumb
@@igaming1985 I had all those 3 as well, I just finished the red one. I couldn't find all the pieces for the rear landing gear but I made some that I though looked far better and serves a purpose. There are 5 small technic wheels with tires per side, each side has a small rubber band that pulls it so the rear tires always land first
i think he forgot to mention that the tail opens up
Cool guy he did I got it and the back opens up
Cool guy yeh he forgot
Yup
I love this set.
Probably because I love aircraft in general.
I do want to get a cargo train to go along with it.
Survivory Tube I have both, I have cargo train and full set of cargo trucks and planes
@@CooleBean I have this and the truck from the same year.
I love how says its fragile then throws it
This was my favorite Lego set as a child because I got it at Disney World it was so fun when I put it together and I played with it for hours but when we went to the airport I got shuffled around in the suitcase and I lost half of the pieces now every time I think about it I’m sad because I can’t get another one
I recently brought this set and its based on the A340 (4 engine jet) or the Boeing 757 (minus 2 engines) it only took me 3 hours to build what a great set
I agree it seems much more like a standard children's playset, rather than a lego set. I'd like to have it, but I wouldn't get much of a kick out of building it. I fear this is a route Lego is taking.
Tom At least it isn't as bad as the simplicity of Lego back in the early 2000s
hi
hi
hi
Tom um, it is for kids!
I really like how Jang includes an opinion on the value of the set for price and playability:) I would have liked to have seen a pic of the older set he was comparing with this one though.
I wish I had that set in my birthday or in Christmas
I don't play with sets much. They just sit around in my airport section. I like the larger pieces for trains airplanes because they have a smoother, more realistic look.
Another reason I like the larger pieces: I got the old 2006 airport set when I was little, and of course, took it apart a few weeks later. Last year, I decided to rebuild it, and thanks to it having those large parts, I could easily find what I needed to rebuild the airplane.
Same
People Stop complaining about the tail bit! it does not add any more space look at the lego.com video www.lego.com/en-us/city/products/airport/60022 you will see that the tail flap merely makes the cargo area more accesable go to features and watch the video and you will see
Awesome! I just got it today, I like LEGO City sets a lot, I enjoy building them. Your video helped me decide which LEGO set to get, thanks :D
Jang, the bits on the end of the wings eliminate vortices, not create them. Well, to be precise, they move the vortex away from the wing tips, therefore generating more lift.
My favorite part is the curved flight deck window.
I wish they had passengers for the plane. The large pieces make it sound easy to assemble.
There is a massive amount of wasted space in the centre of the aircraft, can we modify it so we can use the wasted space?
Yes you can I did and added a little place for my mini figures to just hang out or you could make it so you could put some more cargo in but that's a bit harder
Thank you so much,i was thinking of doing a video and i wanted to show how you can modify it,i have subed
+U&Me Toy reviews!, No Problem :)
+evan myers me too. I even made a bathroom!
+Evan Myers why even bother its 2016 get a new plan set
I love your videos!!!!!
It looks like a Boeing 707 but Boeing 707s have never been turned into a cargo plane
A340?
The nose is to pointed to be an a340
Jang I'm upstate that no one told me that you have s lego channel . I am so happy I found this
this plane is SOOO big
I noticed something weird the air traffic control woman looks like lowis lane
One idea to fit the pallet in is to put the boxes where there is space instead of stuffing them.
how much is this set now?
You are one of the peoples that made me realise LEGO is so fun. Thanks you LEGOJANG
I think this is the best Lego set I have ever had thank you Jang for the review it was awesome!!
Everyone had these, including me.
But that was when we were kids and our little undeveloped minds craved chaos amongst our cargo plane and therefore, *nuked each of our lego sets for our pure enjoyment of destruction.*
I think the set is worth buying for the pieces.
I'm thinking Lego should produce a less strong but efficient rubber band so little kids can still play it without letting the cargo go flying off the forklift. My friend got it and the forklift caused many problems so he had to rebuild the cargo many times but other than that I love it.
still have this and proud! 😃
I really enjoy the level of detail you put in your videos. I'm not sure why I can't comment from the mobile version.
It's a car - go plane so that useless space is for a car if it was available
i think that jangbriks knows what hes talking about ..... hes a pro
Comes together like duplo
If I were to get this set i would figure out a way to open up that space on top of the wings and make the plane more spacious on the inside.
Wow I love this set and the air terminal with the blue plane I love the Airport cargo plane too GOOD VID!
You know, if u have the 2008 cargo truck, you could switch out the forks on that forklift, as the older ones are spring loaded and a heck of a lot easier to use...
rear landing gear was very sad design
Got here from the lego city, town, and creator playlist. Why is this video unlisted? Seems like it's recent enough to still be relavent
I agree lego should be about building not pre assembled toys. That's why play people exist. However if you get into technics, then nothing is free. You have to build every little thing. Still, nice look though.
The octan fuel car, forklift and the loading vehicle are very nice. However I do not like the plane because it has wasted potential cargo space near the wings in the fuselage and it is simply too big for a cargo plane. They should have made a six stud wide plane. It would be smaller and you can still easily fit up to 3 crates using a forklift, and the price would be a little cheaper with equal play value, and that matters a lot.
The blue passenger plane from past was the best plane that lego made.
Probably an airbus a340
Fitzgerald is Random most likely
Based off of, I wouldn't say it's 100% accurate.
The nose is way to pointed to be an a340 but it’s obviously not a Boeing plane because they never made one that looked like that. It’s just a mix between different planes because LEGO designers sadly are not av geeks
Never mind it’s problems a 707
@@Boingboing777 They cannot make a specific plane or they will need to pay royoties but for young kids all planes are the same
I had the 2008 Cargo Plane. It was a really nice set.
It is very lego like!
Duplo like!
I only like the airplane, because of its color scheme. Nice Review!!!
and don't forget that the back opens up and good video again
The fork lift is so compact and cute.
And the reason they didn't let you put In the windshield on the plane is because it might break in the box or during shipping
Jang, love your lego, rcmania, and ultimate rc vids.quick question how do you get all these lego sets early, even before the brickshow?
nostalgia
the nicest cockpit I've seen
This set would go really well with 60020
In the commercial, both sets are used
Daniel Carlos sorry for the late reply, didnt know that
Love your FAQ! I learned what MOC stood for, thanks!
You. Are awesome and so correct
I just saw this video and I dug this set back out, still as good as when I got it, great set if you ask me.
My first christmas present!
i do wish the boxes you load in had things inside them (the lego box pieces) but thats what building your own boxes is for :P i build do alot of things like that if its not a box just a square ill make my own box and load the square in it...
You forgot to show that the tail as a whole, opens up to form some sort of cargo thingy
i bought this set and made it into a passenger plane
It's sucks they waste the space in the middle of the plane. Like you, would have preferred to have that space to be opened. I agree with you on the use of the excessively large parts. While I might be able to reuse some the wing sections for a large spaceship MOC, it's really hard to use them as universally as the small pieces.
your Cargo Terminal is the most coolest set in the world and I think your awesome too
i love it. don't know y you don't its as a lot of detail and its lego it is a toy.
Also, I agree with you on the wings. I have a few pairs of them and they are very poorly made.
They flop around too much and they are no fun to bulid with.
I made a delta version
ROBERTO would be cool if you made a video about the Delta version
I WANT THIS SET SUPER BAD!!!!!!!! But finally im getting it for cristmas:-) :-) :-) :-)
guys give him a break
he is reviewing the set
that is what he will do
talk about things he likes and talk about things he doesn't like
one thing i don't like about Lego is the lack of cockpit space a cargo plane should have about 4 or 5 seats for pilots copilots navigates stuff like that but at least they have two so i still like lego
you left out the massive part at the back that opened with more cargo space!
I wanted to see how much cargo could fit in it!!!
That must be An AirLego Airbus A340!
coolest set i have seen in a long time!!!◘
im not interested and bought any of the CITY line, but really looking after this set
nice review by the way..
NOW I KNOW WHAT TO GET FOR CHRISTMAS
jang you are the best lego lego maker ever
I like the middle Mini-figure
:D :P
this would look awesome in a zombie apocalyptic animationlove the channel
im getting that for my B-DAY! I CANT WAIT
I'd get it for the little builds, might be a good price on offer!
The ATV would look nicer if you flipped the front orange bit
I'm pretty sure the back opens up? Like, folds out so you can put bigger stuff in!
Jang I hate you.......in a good way lol. I went out with my son as he is now old enough for lego and we bought this set, the firestation and a few city cars incl the airport fire truck etc. The plan is to build a small city with airport (I collect diecast aircraft for many years) in our shed with train and going to use my 3 spare fish tanks to create a real ocean for ships etc. I was only considering doing it until I started to watch your reviews and my love for lego was re kindled. So thanks man.
Going to get that boi
My only complaint with this set is the undersized fuel truck. But part limits.
Jang the back of the plane turns sideways giving another compartment
I have that set but I have no idea where it went all I have is the plane and it has no wheels
the old one is better LEGO 6375, everything in there can be built. the new ones is just taking shortcuts.
hi Jang I love that airplane but I do not like all of the big bricks like the tail but I do not mind the forklift because I used a bigger rubber band.
In Singapore it cost $169.90
nice plane good build reasonable price
Ya forget the back opens up
For all of you out there who want this set... I found this for $80 on Amazon, so if you want it, buy it there.
IceCreamJunkie now it's not
I have the 2008 version i like it better
the 2006 passenger plane will always be my favorite
I wanted the original cargo plane but i could only get stuff like that at Christmas and my parents got me a bunch of smaller vehicle sets like the tow truck (old) tractor, police car, etc. Too bad the original is now 315$ dollars on amazon because it was a special edition set. :(
You built the forklift wrong. One of the smaller tires does not match with the other. I suspect you may have put the right tire in the tire box.
i love the look of it but if you don't sell it and get 7734 you might like it better
