Girl... Its not about size, its about the fit. Since your hair is thin, a big clip would just fall off. That's why a smaller one will fit your thin af hair better
in case you don't know, the bigger clip is heavy so when you shake your head while using the big clip, it will fall cause it is heavy. so the small clip doesn't weight that much so when you shake your head it can hold longer and won't fall.
It seems to have way more tension, too. The big clip is almost completely closed, the small one wide open. Add that to the difference in teeth size as already mentioned above me, you get a lot more grip.
That‘s not true at all. The smaller one holds on to the hair better, because it just has a stronger grip, which is achieved through a stronger tension on the spring.
@@sketchyboi-fz1gt wdym it's not true at all??? it is actually true that the smaller one can hold longer than the big one because of its weight differences. and your comment is also true that it is also because of the spring or whatever it is that makes the smaller one hold longer. so what makes you think that what i said was not true at all? All you do is anchor the smaller clip onto the hair at the side of the ponytail roll. You can do that with most small hair clips. Whether it's the black ones they use at the hairdresser's, or decorative ones from Primark etc. It's all to do with placement. I've got really thick hair, and when "banana" clips were all the rage in the 90s, I had the same issue when my hair was waist length. My drama/musical theatre tutor at college, taught me the "anchor" trick. I have thick hair but my hair is wavy... of course, the big clip is ment to hold curlier hair than her's which is why it didn't hold... don't try to tell people what their hair is like unprompted, it's on their head...
Her hair looks fairly thick to me. Thick hair can mean a high number of hair strands per square inch growing on the scalp or it can mean that each individual hair strand is thick. This girl looks like her hair is the first type. She may have very fine to medium individual strands, but she has a lot of strands.
