Superb. Learnt alot. Unfortunetly I brought alot of my bad habits too my feeder chuck from my beachcasting experience. So I will be static casting from now on. Thanks brilliant. And for any doubters yes you can pummel a lead 200 yrds plus with balanced kit.

Basically saying when bringing the rod back getting ready for a cast bring it back to the side rather than directly overhead to stop the line wrapping around the rings.

Match anglers can learn a lot from the likes of Mark and other carp anglers on casting techniques. I’m 58 and always open to learning new stuff. Tight Lines Steve Amison

Hi Rob so you are limp hey! As a fairly competent beach caster I think that was spot on. The rods are different actions and require modified technique but that was sound advice. I think the point about relaxing was so important. Bill

Easy Fishing Love the fact that Bill takes the time to watch and comment on quality instructional videos. I wish there were more people like Bill around when I was younger to help improve my fishing. Have learnt a lot from many vids but yours are the ones that stick in my mind Bill. Good health and stay well. Merry Xmas 😊

Calmdown Ken Hi and thank you. I think it’s important to watch these type of video’s as you are never to old to learn. Guys like these can always pass on something worth knowing even if it’s a small thing. One point about those hollow tips if my memory serves me right the Hardy distance feeder rods had hollow tips years ago which were brilliant. Bill

I was very glad to see someone
who does long distance casting beautifully.
The key word here is beauty.
    When we ponder this,
chances are we would be closer to realization.
Then you do not fish anymore.
